This is probably a "well, duh" post, but I'm constantly amazed at guys who continue to visit providers with less than average review ratings. Apparently these guys see ads and just go with it. Do they look at reviews, or just the donation amount? I'm baffled when a provider's reviews show performances below 5 or 4 consistently, yet these guys show up anyway. Thoughts?
1) Money
If I had to guess, I would say these providers with consistently poor numbers are cheaper ($180-$250 per hr range). Some guys refuse to pay more (or can't afford to) and complain when these women don't live up to their expectations. Walmart ain't Nordstrom's.
2) Screening
I imagine these providers may also have more relaxed screening (if any) than a more successful, more popular provider who is more strict and careful with who she sees. A lot of guys apparently won't allow themselves to be on a verification site, or refuse to provide the information required for a provider that carefully screens to feel comfortable. So they get frustrated and keep looking for providers who won't ask for information they don't want to give.

Not necessarily so. Sometimes it's a matter of which provider responds first. Or the "high-end" provider doesn't respond in a timely manner at all. Hobbying around here in PHX often times require a Plan B because of the likelihood of the Plan A provider being unavailable. But a provider with consistently poor reviews might stay hidden from sight also because the non-VIP members inability to see the ratings, on that, I would agree.
Sometimes, the lower priced ladies have also been decent or even great bang for the buck. Depending, of course, on the individual provider. One example, Veronica Vega provides an excellent service for her price point. That is, when she happens to be available. She does have consistently good reviews though.
Then again, there's the total flakes, NCNS's and absolute time wasters that are higher priced, as in one particular provider I've encountered off Bethany Home that set up an appointment then doesn't bother to cancel, who happens to charge a higher rate. This one had good reviews too, but somehow her poor TCB skills have not surfaced. Either because the hobbyists don't report it, or this may have been just an isolated incident of ''shit happens".
Either way. You get all kinds, at all price points. At least that's been my experience.

with good looks/service combination, hence the market for sub par looks/service providers who can survive with poor reviews for years. The good ones are mostly priced 300 - 400+ for an hour that puts them out of reach for several mongers (including me).

Then you can get a good economical session for less than $50 per session if you play your cards right. While your travel costs points are legitimate I don't go to Toronto just to get laid. Never been there - have to check it out. I am more into Asian and Latina providers hence my go to places are the Bay Area and CR.
Again, travelling is not an option to several people who are married or simply do not have the time. For me travelling works and the value is way better...

Tucson does have some great ladies down there and they are typically half of the rates in Phoenix. That's just to be fair. In this state, there are in fact great providers for less than $400 an hour. Phoenix is a large city, but it's not really comparable to NY, Chicago, California (in general) and Texas (in general). I see more women that are my type in more abundance available in those cities for $400-$500.
I think there are some great ladies here in Phoenix. When I started out in the business 2 years ago my donation was 300/hr. I mostly received 1 hour booking requests, had an inbox full of fake, innapropriate and/ or ridiculous requests. The time and effort and level of difficulty of screening was exhausting compared to how it is now that my rate is 400/hr. I do know that the longer you've been around and the more trusted and recognized you become as a provider this gets somewhat easier, but the higher rates heavily affect the ability to weed out bs. I simply mean that when you put yourself in the 200 to 300 price bracket you definitely increase the frustration and risk factor.
Not every hobbiest seek the same experience. I know that personally myself and most of the girls in the Phoenix top 10 don't necessarily spend a lot of time on one hour appointments.
