Not sure how many follow the news, but many health officials (i.e. me) in Phoenix are seeing an alarming increase in STDs in the metro area (chlamydia, gonorrhea, HIV, syphilis).

Just an extra warning to be extremely vigilant with safety and to get tested regularly if you are active in the hobby.

STDs are rampant yet 9 out of 10 reviews mention doing or wanting bbbj and daty.. surprised more people aren't 100% covered everything. Next time you get a BBBJ better check the Clock and see what time of day it is and wonder how many other bare peckers have been in that mouth the same day.

The rates for civilian girls may or may not be higher but a girl that's been with 20 guys lifetime versus a girl who's  been with 20 guys in two weeks has a much lower risk of exposure.  We won't pick up gum off the ground and chew it or eat food off of other peoples plates but you put your penis in someone's mouth bare that has had countless bare dicks in there. I question the logic.

On this subject, I know of a co-worker that  DATY'd a chick that considered to be pretty loose and slept with anyone freely in the office...She was kinda cute.....ANYWAY long story short, two weeks later he caught herpes from her!!!..Turns out she had genital herpes at the time he had DATY'd her...Now he's got BIG problems controlling the outbreaks on his mouth AND his genitals..Not good.. NOT good at all...He showed me the bumps and sores on his dick area in the office bathroom-- and his mouth also has red sores filled with puss as well...He has been to 3 doctors in the valley and they ALL said the SAME thing: there IS NO CURE FOR HERPES..Once you catch it you got it for LIFE!!.....be careful out there...That BITCH should have told him she had HERPES before he EVER went down on her...dont you think??

Wait a minute...  Wouldn't the guy have SEEN the herpes blisters on her vag region before DATY?

Who are willing to share if they have ever had an experience with std or infection, and what level of protection their used to. Most providers I see... bbfs is a no no but daty and bbbj are usually on the table. I been here for a couple of years now without a problem and would like to keep it that way.

Thanks

I've been hobbying since the mid-90s, CFS (except for civvie girlfriends) but BBBJ and DATY.  I did very, very stupidly go bareback with one provider at her request and got myself a complete screening afterwards, before seeing anybody else.  I got a clean bill of health, thankfully, and a lesson learned.  I also get annual checkups and keep a close eye for anything out of ordinary on the dangly bits, although I'm really looking more for cancer indications.  A friend of mine had testicular cancer in college, which made me very aware early on.

I will admit I am very cautious about bbbj but the reviews make it so I have to offer it if I want to seem above average. As long as you are not DTing and you check for outbreaks you can be safe with herpes but climidia and gonorrhea are 2 things you have to deal with its why I get checked every 3 months and before and after I get back from "touring"

why not offer some info and tips on the diseases and safety? For example...

Symptoms of STDs are similar to other health issues (i.e. a sore throat) so many people don't realize they have an STD. If you engage in risky sexual behaviors, like the "hobby" you should be getting yourself checked regularly so you can get treated.

Genital herpes is one of those that you may not even know you have - symptoms may be non-existent. Genital herpes can spread by skin-to-skin contact, so even a condom is not going to afford you 100% protection...the female condom offers a little more protection, but genital herpes is a risk because of this. There is treatment available, and again, many people never have symptoms or outbreaks.

Ever had a cold sore? That is herpes, and pretty much everyone in the US, sometime in their lives, has had a cold sore. Oral herpes and genital herpes are two different strains of HSV and they are specific...you can have oral herpes on your genitals or genital herpes on your mouth, but they are still their specific strain of herpes and you need to get treatment based on the specific strain.

Syphillis, gonorrhea and chlamydia are all easily treatable provided you know you have them, so if you are worried, get tested, but keep in mind...that test means that at that moment you did not have an STD. You could have gone out an hour later and gotten one, or a week later, or...saying you have a clean test doesn't really mean anything unless you wrapped yourself in plastic wrap between your test and your visit with your ATF or you got tested every single day.

STDs are a risk, not just in the "hobby" but in life, too. Being terrified of having fun because you might get something that can be easily treated seems kinda silly. Do a personal risk assessment - can you afford to catch something? Those with wives who you still have sex with, maybe not, if you are a single guy, maybe it isn't a big deal. Are the activities you want to engage in risky? Hell, since just skin-to-skin contact can spread Herpes, being intimate outside of a monogamous relationship is risky! BBBJ is probably the safest BB activity for guys, since the ladies take most of the risk and I am disturbed to hear that in order to get better reviews here on TER ladies are pretty much forced to offer it, but sex is risky and if you are worried, then the "hobby" might not be for you!

STDs are not a death sentence, even HIV doesn't automatically mean death anymore, but if you are worried about them, think about what you are doing and how you can be more proactive to protect yourself.

I am newish to the scene and I cant agree with this post more. Saying the sky is falling everyone run Does more bad then good. I will admit its been slower since the post started (mite just be me) but I understand that no one wants to have to deal with anything. And I know you can catch herpes and its incurable (can be treated though) but its a risk I take and a service I do my best to screen and check SAFETY FIRST.  I myself get checked every 3 months and a friend who has been doing this way longer then me does the same. The only time I ever got Bad test results is from my first boyfriend and sex partner. since then maybe it is a roll of the dice But its all our own choice to risk it it or not (now dont get me started about those who lie and risk there significant other because they are a lying CHEATER!!!) But who am I to judge.
Thank you for this post though MK you took the words out of my mouth!!!
Good vibes xoxo

It seems like 9 out of 10 guys text me asking for bare services... I prefer covered. I have had 2 clients in 10 years try to sneak the condom off ://

and the rare clients that passion got the best of us... well testing is something I do right away.. It stressed me out thinking how many others they are active with!?!

We all have different reasons for being on this fantasy site and I have been in the 'hobby' for a long time.

My sexual prime was when HIV or AIDS was happening but no one knew it.  I was lucking enough to go to college and alcohol really made parties happen.  I had so much 'unprotected sex' that I count myself as lucky.  Note: if your son is an engineer but takes classes in fine arts he is really smart kid. Not...many horny woman engineers.  That was/is sexist but I don't care if I am judged.

BUT...my reason for joining the hobby was simple...as a GF I got great bbjc's but literally they stopped as soon as the ring went on.  So after years, I made a decision to 'join his hobby' but I talked to a doctor first and I have continued talking to my doctor's.  I didn't want to hurt my wife but I really enjoy a good BBBJ with CIM.

The risk of a man contracting a disease from a BBBJ is very, very low.  Sex without condom is just stupid.  In all my years, I made the mistake once and it was because the provider was crazy hot and I stopped thinking.  I had myself immediately check, re-checked and then resumed relations with my wife.

This risk of a woman contracting a disease from a BBBJ is pretty low but if the client has syphilis then you could be at risk. (read below for more on this)  Note: I have asked this question of a female doctor, it was awkward, and she demanded that I take a long list of tests but a female doctor gave me the facts of the risk to woman.  She was trying to shame me from my behavior but even before HIPPA patient doctor confidentiality was a tenant of healthcare.  I will admit I never saw that doctor again but I did ask and I created my rules from this information

NOTE: I am not a doctor, I don't play a doctor on TV and remember this is a fantasy site.

A small sidebar:
My ATF, she is retired, was a woman from Sacramento, CA.  He name was SubmissiveSlut. Her rules were very simple.  Do with me what you want, as many times as you want but no anal, no unprotected cunnilingus and you cum as man times as you like.  She always had female condoms.  She was submissive but she stated her rules very clearly.   I mention her because she openly talked to her gynecologist about her job and oddly she disagreed about syphilis.  She was told that that saliva and stomach acids take care of the risk.  NOTE: I don't think she was a doctor either.

Here are my rules
I never perform cunnilingus .  Don't get me wrong, I love doing it but not when I hear all the reviews of making a woman cum 4-243 times in a 30min-12hr date and DATY made it all happen.  I have previously made my position well known about 'fake reviews' so I won't start that rant.  This is a fantasy site so I take things with a grain of salt and stories make for great reading.

There is no doubt that good foreplay makes for better sex and if a female condom is offered...I will consider cunnilingus but again I am very selective.

I never have unprotect sex.  I have been known to like Anal but I am very cautious of who I decide to do that with and I NEVER do that without LOTS of lube.  The lube is all about making sure no blood vessels break.  Note: I had this explained to me by my doctor and yes even my wife.

Herpes...well that odds are that everyone has it but to different degrees.

Just a funny story...STD's are a HUGE problem in retirement homes and communities.  If your guy that ages well you are going to get laid more than you did when you were in your 20's.  This is a statistical fact!!!
