Life in our neighborhood - from forum in my area
Barb posts: Bearded Dragon Found near 28st/ yucca.
Paul replies: Thanks Barb, didn't realize my wife was missing?
Paul, the Embassy Suites are a good place for you to stay when your wife reads this...
Another: I was going to say, enjoy the couch tonight buddy. Lol
What's a bearded dragon?
It is a big pet lizard

This reminds me of my post on our neighborhood group in 2015:
Dave:  A pig just walked by oinking. Slow moving. Now at top of Calle Santa Cruz. Assume a pet? Drove our German Shepherd wild thinking pork chops for dinner.

Some discussion if really a pig or one of our usual wild Javelina's and can call game and fish to capture.
Dave: If a pig it may be dinner for the coyotes tonight :(

Jack: It's my pig she gets out sometimes. She is harmless and her name is Sasha. She is a small black pig and if it's a bigger black pig that's her boyfriend Baccon who is also mine.

Dave concludes: Thanks for letting me I wasn't imagining things. Was probably Baccon!

Pet Safety - Coyotes/Owls/Hawks
We live at 7th Street & Coral Gables and the last two mornings we have had dead rabbits (what was left of them) in the front, side and back yards. Not sure if it is coyotes or some type of owl or hawk. We have been blocking our doggie door at night so our little Sally does not become a Scooby snack. My husband thinks it could be an owl or a hawk because a coyote would have not left anything but fur.

Replies:
There are several GIANT Owls in the neighborhood. Our doggies are also on lock down.

Sounds like a cat. They are natural born hunters even if domesticated and well fed. One of ours would leave us "presents" at our back door. Hind legs and other extremities.

An owl will generally rip a rabbit in half or so and leave the rest. A coyote will take the whole rabbit.
