Hotel recommendations?

I'm looking for a AZ staycation for a night or two, maybe with, maybe without company.  A couple years ago I stayed at the Hilton Squaw Peak Resort, which was nice (especially the villa upgrade and a visit from Ellie Rose), but missing a couple things I was looking for.

Two things I'd like:  a whirlpool tub to soak in, and a nice hotel bar.  The kind that will make an old-fashioned that doesn't taste or look like a fruit cocktail and has a chill atmosphere.

Bonus: a balcony or large window with a view.

Price cap is $200, maybe $250 at the outside.

Stayed there many times. Pool parties on Saturday afternoon with a live DJ, but nights and Sundays are quiet. Chill bar restaurant and a short cab ride from old town for more great food choices.

I like the king cabana rooms. There are only 4 that overlook the pool and spa from the second floor which is behind the DJ and a fun way to chill and have a view of the pool party.

JW is great. Lots of good spots in Scottsdale and PV and summer rates are fantastic right now. Just saw a screaming deal at the Omni Montelucia for $139! Here's a thought that maybe isn't exactly what you're looking for but might fit the bill. Talking Stick Resort. Great views, some big balconies. And although the casino atmosphere may be more "party" than "chill", the Orange Sky restaurant or the Cigar Bar and Patio are very chill, with a dark, quiet, private ambiance. And of course my best piece of advice...take me with you! Lol!! ;) But either way, good luck and have fun! :)
