Has anyone ever been to Heisler Park?  I read that the locals hang here, not that that matters. I want to take a few-days-trip up to OC from San Diego to site-see. I think it's important to venture in and around your state, right?  

I'm also looking at Crystal Cove State Park and the cute little cottages they have for daily rentals. BTW - baby powder works AMAZING for removing both dry and wet sand. This beach babe has a waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay cleaner car during the summer due to that little tid-bit!  

I'd like some input or I will end up at Huntington Beach Pier enjoying the sunset and indulging with a frozen banana from Dad’s on Balboa Island. Again. But not like that's a bad thing

So, any MUST SEE spots in Orange County?
