I have to admit, I never wore lingerie prior to entering this business. And while I've gained a higher appreciation for it (I do think it's pretty), I'd much rather be in a flannel shirt, shorts and knee socks than a frilly little negligee.
One thing I will say is that I refuse to sacrifice comfort for "sexiness." You'll never see me wearing a corset on a date (I don't like having my respiration constricted), and I'll take a pair of combat boots over stilettos any day. I also don't really associate lingerie with "expensive," but then again I've never spent more than $50 on a lingerie set. My workout clothes are probably the most expensive stuff in my closet. I know quite a few ladies who swear by La Perla and Agent Provocateur, but I just can't bring myself to spend the equivalent of my rent on a bra & panty set.
On another note, I think you may be onto something re: photos. I tried to squeeze in a couple of more "natural" outfits in my most recent photo set (cute little black dress + comfy sweater), but after having read this, I think I'd like to get some shots in my everyday garb. It's never a bad idea to have some variety, and I for one would thoroughly enjoy wearing my gym gear or stuff I wear to class for a shoot. So thank you for the inspiration!

Why do all the girls who post photos on this site seem to only have photos of them in frilly lingerie? Why do all the high-level girls, and all the wanna-be high-level providers do this?
Why not something you'd wear to the gym?
Why not something you'd wear to the office?
Why not something you'd wear out and about on a sunny fall day?
Why not something you'd wear in a dive bar to watch some shitty band.
I'll admit that I could care less about anything that feels "forced" - lingerie which is more decoration, than functional under-wear, pretend-sexy maids outfits, etc... I know that if I have a fetish, it's a fetish for "the real".
But is it truly that this is what the market demands? Or is it also possibly - like the price-point - because the ladies associate what they do with something classy and elite because what they are selling is expensive and they associate lingerie with expensive? Or it makes them FEEL classy?
I am certain there are guys who want the fantasy - because they are married and their sagging, nagging wives wear sweatpants and fuzzy slippers and big ugly shirts to bed. I am sure there are guys who grew up jerking off to shit that wired their brains to expect this kind of thing.
But, even the married guys go to the gym and lust after the hot, athletic girls who work out next to them. Right?
Even the rich guys check out the new co-op in advertising who wears heels every day. Right?
Every guy's been out about town of a Saturday and seen that stunning - but laid-back - woman at the grocery store. Right?
Every guy's been to a bar, and wanted to fuck some artsy little hipsters hair back into place... the way her bearded, pretentious, skinny-jean-and-thick-frame-glasses-wearing wanna-be-writer boyfriend would never do. Right?
Why the focus on making your vagina look the table my grandmother's novelty spoon collection used to sit on? Seems odd to me...
Ladies?
