I have used Slixa but I only use it to increase exposure every now and then. I have gotten bookings from Slixa but not as many as I do from Twitter, IG, or elsewhere. Eros is a drab in Ohio. Do not use it for Ohio, or at least not Columbus.
After doing research for myself I am finding out that most guys in Cbus dont use sites like Eros, TER, Slixa, or any social sites. Or at least in my experience guys want to avoid having an online footprint and prefer to meet potential dates through mutual arrangements, etc.
The fact that this board is so dead tells me the guys are going somewhere else. Maybe Craigslist? The regional board is probably the most positive board I've been on. Minimal mean/rude behavior, good community attitude, helpful and supportive members.
I believe that in Ohio it works best for low and mid range rates, full gfe. I don't get many clients here in Ohio from it - I feel the guys are really after a wider "menu" than what I am comfortable with...but it my primary source of advertising when I visit PA - very effective for me there. When in Ohio, I get quite a lot of hits to my site from it, so it could at least help with SEO and getting your name out there to a wider audience.
It may be worth establishing your presence there as a back-up, because you really never know when the current back-up advertising platforms will be nixed. Now more than ever, it is important to diversify, improve your SEO position, and never put all your eggs in one basket!
I checked the Slixa site out didn't see much for Columbus unless it limited on a smart phone

Slixa is dry in Columbus and even in Cincinnati and Cleveland the major cities here. I just don't get why.
