inform the lady if you are aware of any reason she should begin treatment for, or in anticipation of, any issues.
You should then move up your next STD test and find a reason to practice safe sex with the wife/SO until you can be sure you are critter and HIV free.
I just realized that since you posted under an alias, we don't know if you are male or female...if female, morning after pill may be appropriate, as well as any other actions to prevent pregnancy.
Also STD testing should be done as soon as possible to assure your health and safety. And you should also find a reason to practice safe sex with the husband/SO until you can be sure you are critter and HIV free.

This happened to me about 35 years ago when I had a young lady over to my place to celebrate my birthday. During sex, I wondered why the feeling went from pretty good to really great and found out that I had broken the condom. After we disengaged, I told her about it. The greatest concern for us at that time was unwanted pregnancy, not STDs.
They told us in the military that you could do four things to lessen your chance of infection from unprotected sex or a condom failure:
1. Immediately pour an alcoholic beverage over your genitals
2. PEE... immediately and as long as you can
3. Wash up with soap and hot water
4. Pray.
I had condom failure with a provider a couple years ago, actually the damn thing came OFF while we were slam fucking and I didn't realize it till we were done. All was well as she had been out of the business for a while going through some surgery and had been checked over real well during all that.
Another time five or six years ago a provider very unexpectedly mounted me bareback. I took what precautions I could after the fact, but it was a lousy 3 weeks looking for common symptoms of VD then another rotten six months before I got a full physical and started to relax over the faint possibility of HIV.

I take this as a "what if"... Anytime things feel wrong, ya stop & check of course. I've had providers stop me to check.
I always have a spare in case of a wardrobe malfunction... I sure ain't running my naked *ss to the store to get a fresh one!
If it fails without being noticed, the previous advise is fine & prayers...
