What is the best way of approaching new clients especially if the review was fabricated. Suggestions

But you'll have to show them convincing proof.  For example, if you can show that you were in a different city on the day the "date" supposedly happened.
Meanwhile, go out and get some stellar reviews that will make the bad one, if it stays up, look like an outlier and most guys will ignore it.

You get over it the same way you did the last time you got a bad review, and the time before that.

And to be fair, he still gave you a high score for looks, so you're obviously hot, even if he didn't like you for some other reason.

As jake said, you can dispute the review, so save your text messages message the admins to get the ball rolling. If you've never met him it'll be easy to get it taken down because he won't be able to prove he ever saw you. It might be harder to confirm or disconfirm specific details in his review if he actually did see you.

... there's a considerable email and text trail.  So it should be easy for TER to request from the reviewer all of the emails and texts from you that corroborate his story... if he can produce them.

I would start with how much is true, and how much is fabricated.  If some of the review is true, own up to it. Whatever is not true submit to TER with proof.   We all have bad days.   We all have done some lousy sessions.  Make it up to the guy, and let future clients know that you f*cked up and learned from your mistakes.  You are a beautiful, awesome provider and you will provide an  awesome service for them.  Best of luck to you!!!

It seems fairly consistent with your other outliers...

I used to write off outlier reviews as very, very unlikely to happen to me also - then I went through a patch of encounters where if there was an outlier - I would almost certainly experience similar behaviour on the part of the provider...

I remember PMing an acquaintance saying "how was that chick - she lost her mind when I just touched her hair..." his response was "WTF did you think was going to happen after you read my review..."

Now I take outlier's as gospel - I am a bit of a picky consumer and I don't want to take even a small chance I will have to deal with nonsense like what was described in this review...

On one hand its the first review for that guy, that doesn't make it not true of course, but also he was very detailed in describing the whole situation and it sounds like it would be very easy to prove one way or the other based on the amount of emails and texts between the 2 of you.
But if you did screw up, own up to it and be honest, we all have our bad days. Most of your other reviews are high scores so it shouldn't be to much of an issue.

The reviewer has been on TER for at least 6 years.  Some of his posts describe familiarity with the process and practice.  This guy is not a newbie, at all, despite not writing reviews. How do you dispute the she 'left after about 20 minutes' and other disappointing parts?

I'm not disputing anything, which is why I said for the amount of detail that he wrote about the situation it should be easy enough to prove either way.

The session your last review was based on... clearly got off on the wrong foot.  I am not privy to the whole of the communication but the client seemed confused & as a provider, you need to not let that happen.  If you are traveling between cities, you need to not over book or schedule without sufficient down time.  The whole thing seems like a "cluster fuck" waiting to happen.  (And I'm giving the benifit of the doubt here.)

Moving forward, admit it got screwed up.  You should be sorry about that & if possible really make it up to the client.  If he chooses not to, that's on him.  Why don't you ask HIM, what you can do to make it right in his eyes?

Others WILL question you because they don't want to get a poor experience.  Admit your mistake.  Promise it won't happen.  Be sure it doesn't.

PS:  I've learned it takes a big person to admit their mistakes... Appologise. Ask how can I make this right? Then do so.  It's hard to be angry when someone wants to make it right.

Don't have an hourly rate if you aren't going to stay for more than 20 minutes. Several of your reviews mention this, not just the recent bad one. When I first got into this hobby, one pop was all I could get, and then the provider was leaving. But that doesn't go over well in the current market. Other providers at your price are offering multiple pops per hour with no upsell or attitude, and you can't compete with your 20-minute scam.

but a history of off reviews... they can't all be fake... says to me she doesn't click with some, or she's moody, or some other reason but with my luck, it would be the case with me, so i pass.
