Does anyone know when TER will allow providers to link their doubles reviews to their profile? I just got a new review that my client tried to put on my page since my duo partner is not on here, and they still made a separate profile. Now she's going to have to request for it to be delisted because she is... How does this make sense? Why isn't there a link where it asks (bring a second provider?) yes here are the links.

And I've changed ,my name weeks ago for personal reasons and even with this new review they still won't change my profile name. Any suggestions as to why this is? I have seen other ladies change their profile name and keep their reviews.

As far as duo reviews being linked to the regular profile, that's something that has come up before on the S&P. Nothing wrong with bringing it up again over there and asking for it. That's frustrating for clients and providers alike.

Now then, she's going to have to request for it to be delisted because she is....what? What is she that makes her "have to" request for this review to be deleted? I don't understand the situation you're describing. Also, I'd be absolutely shocked if admin takes down a review because someone who is not a member here asks them to; but who knows, that's up to them. Unless she self-reports for not having a web presence or something like that.

You're right, I've talked to a couple women who have changed their names here. They used the contact us button and explained why they wanted to. I know in one case she had already changed her name once before so it got a little hinkey, but she got it done. The advice I've seen for this in the past is to be polite and be patient. Good luck.

...be delisted because her friend is...delisted.

Another thing - if a provider is de-listed, her profile and reviews come down.  However, if she has doubles reviews and profiles, they stay up even if her individual profile is gone.

Yeah, maybe. That's a possibility. Still, if her friend has been delisted (she only said she is not on here, she didn't say she got kicked out, but maybe.), there's no reason she "has to" try to get the review pulled. I mean if you slip through the cracks, so what right? Unless her friend is not on TER because she's trying to be UTR, in which case they should've asked the guy not to review the duo, but that's a whole different tangent....

You're right about a profile being delisted and the duos getting left behind, but she seems to be talking about a brand new review and, as far as I could tell, a provider who isn't here not one who got delisted. So I'm not sure how that applies here.

To the OP: HH is absolutely right, I've seen lots of duo reviews where only one woman has an individual profile here, and many of them just say ".... and friend." I've even read one where the guy said "the other woman is UTR and asked that I not name her, but here's what happened with the three of us...." I didn't mention that because I was trying to understand your situation.

I get that having this duo review linked to your regular profile would be awesome for you and that you want that. Unfortunately, that's just not how it works, that may or may not change some day. Why do you want it pulled down though?

... when a provider is delisted.  I believe that's an exception, but I've seen it done.

No ifs and or buts. Just they way it is. However, if a monger searches your name he will get your singles and doubles review profiles all at once. You can also mention your TER profile # for doubles in your ads.

As far as your doubles partner not being a member of TER, that’s fine. My last doubles review was with a TER reviewed provider and her friend who was new to the business. I wrote the doubles review with the provider’s name and “friend” No mention her name whatsoever and the review was approved. I’ve also read doubles reviews with the same scenario.

Disclaimer: this review was written under the “old” TER format, no sure if this is still the case with “new” TER.

And as the other poster mentioned you can contact  TER and request a name change. I have had many friends over the years change TER names.

If someone searches my name they won't find anything because my new name isn't on my profile, my old name is, which is really annoying. I got rid of that name for a reason, I've asked 3 times for it to be changed, idk why it's still there.

What reason have they given you for not changing it?  Do you still have your old name on some ads or somewhere on your website?

It seems strange they wouldn't add the new name to your profile.
I've seen many profiles with multiple names, which is what usually happens when a lady changes her name.  Mine used to be Debbie/Debra.

I've seen some which have many names like this: Tiffany/Bambi/Taylor/Chyna/Dakota/Regan

You can ask to use your "once in a lifetime" name change and see if that works.  It's what I did, so now my profile is simply Debra Hollander.  :-)

Three of them have your old name. TER probably won't change your name unless you remove those ads from the web. They will add your new name and post your 2 names on your profile as Marie Simone/Marie Luscious. You don't even have to request that yourself. Any TER member can send in a problem report to have that done based on your ads with different names. However If you are really just trying to change your name and eliminate the old one, they will probably ask you to get rid of the ads with the old name. Did they not tell you this?

Now I realize that some of those ads might be scraper sites that pulled your info from elsewhere and you have no control over them, but it still should be possible to have them removed from those sites.

As far as the doubles reviews, everyone above gave you good info on that.

lol have you ever tried to have your info removed from
Scraper sites. They are not easy AT ALL to remove.

But I do what to know if my duo reviews will be changed to my new name.
