I sent texts three days ago to two providers I may be interested in seeing and have not gotten a response. One has only 1 review so far this year (but was very active prior, 15 reviews or so between Oct and Dec) and the other was active late last year with nothing this year, so I’m not terribly surprised. But I will keep at it.
Is it possible that texting is not the ideal way for initial contact? Is a phone call the preferred method? I’ll admit to preferring text initially to pave the way and have something to talk about. Might sound a bit foolish, but I’m nervous about entering this “hobby” and don’t want to come across as a bumbling idiot over the phone right out the gate, though this might be inevitable. As far as ID check, is the P411 approach the way to go, does it carry weight with providers? There isn’t much detail on the site how the system works, I have no problem giving them employer information and sending a picture. Do I just tell the potential provider to call them with some ID number I get from P411 and then I’m good to go? Is this going to work with all providers? And how much information are the providers given at that point? I can see a picture being useful, but are they told real name and place of employment or other detailed information or is it basically just a “thumbs up”?I always did P4P outside the US due to the perceived difficulties with verification. But since I found P411 I am golden. You don’t have to send a pic — would be a nonstarter for me. You send them several bits of info that are verifiable on your Drivers License and that is all the girl gets. So P411 has more info but the girl just has bits. It’s very clever.
I just contact the girls via P411 and it’s been great. Start with newbie friendly providers.
I reached out over the weekend to a provider using P411 and she hasn’t signed in since last week or gotten back to my PM. I figured Id try another provider tonight, but she also hasn’t signed in since last week. I did get a response in P411 from a women I was interested in and who I PM’d, but she was only in town 1 day apparently and I never do rush appointments, so I had to move on. It helps to be patient and not to be in a rush. You’ll pull your hair out.
Start with newly friendly girls and build up okays. Get 3 with in 3-6 weeks, or 3-6 months. You want to show a history and that your consistently active over a period of time. You won’t have any problem after you’ve gotten three reviews moving forward. Some girls don’t respond to P411 as quickly as texts or emails but I find P411 to be a great place to shop
It’s good to keep your communication in one place.
I f she`s one of those providers that doesn`t log into P-411 all that often you can email her and tip her off that you have requested a date or pre- screening with her on P-411. Usually then there will be a good chance she will log in to check your profile, bio and pics if any. Streamlines things quite a bit. This spin has worked well for me a few times.
As someone who is new to the hobby, I have found that using P411 is the best way to contact providers. I use TER for reviews and then if i find a provider I want to see use P411 to setup the date.
To answer your question about the preferred method of contact, it's different for every provider. I think it best to get their website information from here or P411 and usually there's some info on their website about how they like to be contacted.
I've contacted girls for the first time through P411 messaging, direct emails, their website screening form, AND a phone call. I don't do all these at once for a single girl. It all depends on how they ask to be contacted. There is no one preferred method as an industry rule. Do your research, and contact them the way they ask for.
As far as doing searches on P411, yes you do have to keep an eye on how long it's been since they've logged in. Providers market in alot of different ways, and P411 might not be their primary. While I would like to think that they would get a notification that I've sent them a message, they don't always reply. So I tend to keep my searches limited to those who have logged in recently. That gives me a hint that they're paying attention to P411 (which yes, I have found is the best way to reach someone for an appointment).

You should never give out your P411 identification number. This is a no no. That ID is used to sign into your account and could be used by someone who isn’t you to meet providers who think they’re meeting you. You send PMs and requests in P411 and let the providers who have accounts sign in and read them there. Giving your P411 sign in info out makes the site less safe for everyone

No one can sign in as me and use my account without the password. I only give out my P411 ID to ladies I want to see. There are times when a PM or appointment request gets ignored or goes to spam, so I follow up with an email when I don't get a response through the system.
I will probably drop a money order in the mail in a day or two for P411 membership. I understand that some providers there are “newbie friendly,” but it is not apparent in what I can see as a non-member, will that be an easy search term once I’m in? And about the ID verification with the provider, how does the provider know that I’m “the one”? Am I just revealing the code I get from P411 or is there an ID check of some kind in addition to that?
Ruben, re-read Harley`s post as it`s spot on. The fact that you`ve been approved by P-411 could/should be enough for her especially if she`s newbie friendly. When she sees your profile, pics, bio she will get an initial "Feel" for you. Upload a real good semi recent photo of yourself if your comfortable doing that. Some guys won`t and I respect that but I do and girls that I`ve seen tell me they really appreciate it. Now she has a good idea of who this stranger is and what he looks like who is walking through her door to get down n` dirty with. Then again, YMMV.
Once you get a couple of OK`s on your profile she/they can reach out to the girls that ok`d you and request additional info from them, some do but most don`t feel the need to IMO.
It will be intimidating for you until you get a couple of trysts under your belt, then it gets real easy and a lot more fun!

Thanks for the words of reassurance 20strojl. I have lowered my expectations for the first visit to the point where a simple back rub would make the visit a success. Same partner for 30 years, so this is going to be quite the experience. I am going to communicate through P411, select a 20+ reviewed provider with newbie-friendly credentials, and try to fake my way through it. Pretty amazing this internet thing, music and porn for free, and sweet honies for peanuts. Life is good.
After your sessions, make sure to ask your partner to give you an OK on P-411 and also white list you on TER
Also ASK her if it`s cool to write a review of her on TER. Make sure to ask her, very important. It`s what a gentleman does and it goes a long way, no-brainer.
I see the value here in helping the provider confirm that the right person has showed up. Any other considerations regarding whether to provide a photo? Will a provider be more likely to accept me as a newbie with a photo? Of course, face will be well blurred out and background will be generic. Finally, I am fit for my age, is physical appearance a factor at all for a provider in deciding to respond to my request or is that a non-issue?
I would never post a photo. Too easy to google reverse search u or otherwise stalk u if things went south (very rare, but so is shark bite!). The cool thing about the bits of P411 info are that if a lady wants to ID u you can show her your license with last name and address covered and she can verify. That said, in my four or so stateside encounters via P411 not one has asked to verify my ID.
I decided to do the credit card registration, which can and was completed in 2 days. I was concerned about the verification call, it came through to my office with no ID on the phone display, so was very discreet.
I love the service I always go there first and rarely book a provider not verified on p411. It limits my options a bit but I prefer the relative peace of mind it provides ... I trend to be a bit overly cautious / paranoid about seeing new people ... I am very grateful for p411 don’t know if I could go without it at this point
