Advanced search feature for reviews

I subscribed until July 13th (heading to Vegas on the 19th-22nd) to figure out some choices for my upcoming trip to Vegas.  Although the advanced search is certainly better than the features available for non-subscribers, I can't say that it's that much better.  I constantly get results of women that are outside of the area (appears to be providers that are touring).  One woman I was interested in had a Vegas area code and a site listing her, in addition to a variety of other providers for Vegas (even has a caption on the site for the different areas they service with Vegas being one of them).  When I e-mailed the agency, the person replied that they don't service Vegas (strange response since some of the women listed on that site are active posters here).  In any event, does anyone know a good way to isolate out only women working in Vegas and also those that have reviews over the last 12 months (I assume any provider with current reviews that are over a year old are probably not working any more)?  About the only thing I find that is mildly effective is to put "702" in the area code box.

I don't know how you can say that a VIP search is "not that much better" than a basic search. With VIP search you can see their rates, their rating, all services provided, and read the juicy details of the reviews. None of this is available in a non VIP search.

In any case the issues you describe for location can be a problem, because it will bring up touring ladies that only occasionally visit Vegas, and stuff like that. If you do the area code search like you mentioned, that might help because it will leave out ladies who only tour who do not have a LV area code. However it will also leave out providers who work out of LV but still have an outside area code on their "work phone" (A lot of "work" phone numbers are apps anyway.) It will also leave out providers who may be email only and do not have a phone number listed on their profile.

I think I would stick to putting Las Vegas in the search city and then weed out the non Las Vegas ladies as you go through your list of results,

As for your date question, just use sort by date (near the top of the form) and when you get your results, don't read the older ones nearer to the end of your results. Unfortunately you can not do a search that eliminates older reviews, but sorting by date, at least puts the most current ones on top.

In case you aren't aware of it (not everyone is!) there are Ad Boards on this site,  and Las Vegas does have its own.

There will be both touring ladies and local ladies posting there, so be sure to pay attention to see if she has visiting dates in her subject line.  If she's only visiting, those dates should be right there!

Or perhaps try posting an In Search Of on the Las Vegas discussion board?

Yes, having the VIP does still help as you'll be able to easily & quickly determine whether or not the ladies who post (or respond to your post!) are the general type you desire AND offer what you seek.  :-)

Hope that helps a little!!!

you can afford to pay for VIP long enough to figure out how to use search.

1. Have TER invest in tracking software. And some reasonable user interface for searching the info.
2. Require Providers to register their phones with the TER tracking software.
3. VIP will allow us to search where the Providers (or their phones) really are.
.
Kind of like a Waze for Providers.
.
All that is needed is a way to keep LE from using the tracking info. Any ideas?

(Humor alert for the OP: The Newbie Board is a friendly place but a little humor is allowed, too.)

Based on the timing you described, it doesn't sound like you'll be posting reviews?  Why not extend your membership for the good of the others?  I'm certainly going to do it.  For the extra information available as a paying member (and it's much more user-friendly in my experience than you describe), the price paid is a bargain.  As such, I feel duty-bound to post reviews.  Pony-up some extra time so you can post the reviews? p.s. I may be showing my ignorance if it's possible to post reviews as a non-paying member.  If so, my bad!

No, you do not need to be a VIP member to post reviews. You will earn free VIP days when you post reviews. If you are a paid VISp member at that time, your free days just go into your VIP "bank." At some point if you cancel your paid membership or let it expire, then the free days from you "bank" will kick in. There are a few other ways to earn free VIP days, but I won't go into it here.

You are correct in your other advice. VIP membership is a good value, and it can pay for itself many times over. When an hour with a provider can cost 300, 400, 500, and over, trying to save 30 bucks a month by not getting VIP is definitely false economy. There are definitely a lot of advantages to having VIP, and the OP seems to be missing that and concentrating on one issue he has with the search function.
