I prefer tree to flat, as you point out.

The flat mode is the one which allows you to preview new posts to old threads.

And should I check off provider add above??
My Website that's new I just put the TER logo on the front page I know that's why I wasn't being seen in the NJ ads but a fellow provider on here who knows me started a thread and, I posted two comments and they went through fine but I go back and don't see them.
Please ladies I believe as ladies we should stick together and, I ask kindly from the heart to help me.
Also, does anyone get a room FOR the weekend and do more than one date ?
How do i do this?

Also what flat? It's in the choices for when I lost

...everyone when they are new members is moderated at first. Your posts are held up until TER Board Admin can check to see it follows the board posting guidelines. Everyone goes through this. Continue posting following the rules. After a couple of months use Contact Us (bottom of any page) to request they take you off of moderation. Once they do your posts will go live immediately. Obviously you need to post enough for TER to tell you can and will follow the posting guidelines. The guidelines for posting are in the first post at the top of this page. It's titled TER's Instruction Manuel (aka The Self-Help Center). Click it to open then read the first link at the top titled Discussion Board guidelines. (I bet if you go back and check now your posts will be visible.)
.
No, you should not check off Provider Ad when posting here. You only check Provider Ad when posting an ad on your TER regional ad board. Read the discussion board guidelines for instructions about posting ads.
.
I'll leave it to one of the ladies to expand on your question about getting a room for the weekend and do more than one session (date). My short answer is yes you can.
.
After reading the Discussion Board Guidelines in the TER Instruction Manuel read the next two links: Provider Ad Posting Guidelines and Some Info for Providers.
.
More info: You don't have a profile on TER nor do you have a TER ID#. You will get a profile and a TER ID# when someone writes your first review, TER approves it and posts it. You don't fill out your profile. The first reviewer will fill out your profile. You can check it and contact TER to correct anything he missed or got wrong. You use Contact Us to do this.
.
Keep asking questions here on the Newbie Board. Welcome

.
P.S. You can't include a link to your website or an ad when you post a thread starter like you did here. You can post a link to your website or ad when you reply to someone else. I have asked TER to let your post remain and to simply remove the link to your website. It's a Newbie mistake. I hope they will grant my request.

I am sorry I am so discouraged I will follow every rule. I swear. I have 2 messages and can only read them if I pay 30 bucks maybe they are from.POT  dates from men on here.
I am trying so hard to idk I am sorry this is all so discouraging
When all I want is to feel safer in a community that promotes that.

You just can't link it on a post that starts a new thread, commonly called an "OP"

We would love it if you linked your web site so we could all know a little more about you and who knows, maybe it will get you a few dates to boot.

Oh ok thanks!!!
Wow the kindness of everyone has been amazing.
So if I start a thread I can't link it but if I post or comment I can ? Sorry this site is very over whelming. Lol plus I again have been trying to make my sites look stellar for here and for you guys the community so you know I would be a good asset and very very involved.  Yes, I so hope to get a date from TER..
I am seeing a man who is on here and  p411.  I don't know the etiquette on do I ask him. He is so so nice. Like I said my safety and the fact I dnt verify my dates is an issue.  I go into a date very nervous and don't see that many anymore because of some  things.  So I will earn and keep posting and hopefully soon I can be a part of your community

Here's her link again. I think this should work.

So strange. I thought they'd fixed that weird little glitch?

There are two views (modes) you can choose between to view the discussion threads. One is Tree and the other is Flat. Tree mode opens the initiating post and all the replies in a thread. It keeps the replies in line with the post they are replying to. You will notice in Tree mode the thread may be slanted to the right due to replies to others in the thread instead of the OP (original poster).
.
Flat mode opens the initiating post and all the replies in a thread but puts them in chronological order regardless of who in the thread the reply is addressing.
.
Some prefer Tree mode. I do. Some prefer Flat mode. Try them out by clicking on one and see what you like.

But a new feature with the updated TER now allows you to see a preview of any new posts on older threads right away so that you can opt to read those without having to go back and view each thread.  It's a real time saver.

After I do that, I go back to the tree mode.

"some" people like flat mode, but "Most" prefer tree as it's MUCH easier to follow a thread as you can see who is responding to who. With flat mode the posts come up in chronological order but it is impossible to tell who is talking to who except by "context", but when someone makes a generic statement like "You are an asshole" flat mode creates all sorts of misunderstandings as the last poster jumps to the conclusion that he/she is being called out when the truth of the matter could be quite different.

I prefer tree to flat, as you point out.
