Saw a well reviewed girl here on TER (5 reviews over 7 months, all positive), emailed her and set up an appt for next Wednesday.
Communicating with her was easy enough, but all the past reviews indicated she goes through a screening process. Gave her my real name and phone number as part of my emails. She didn't solicit them, I just offered. I haven't heard a peep from her re: screening. I'm still a newb, but a lot of the posts on this board have seemed to indicate any decent provider will check for references on you.
Should I be worried? Is she maybe LE? Or am I just being paranoid?
any SMART provider would screen, and if she doesn't she's just asking for trouble..this profession is much too risky not too!

others do. Some ladies don't give references others do. Each has their own reason and is comfortable with the way they work.
Has this provider already made time and date arrangements with you? If she hasn't, she may not have finished screening.
Do you have a reference for her if she asks since you are a newbie? If you don't I wouldn't put a stumbling block on your first adventure ;-0
5 good reviews in 7 months is a fair amount of reviews but did you check the reviewer also? To do your best research you need to be VIP. This will allow you to check the history of the reviewers as well.
I do give references but seldom ask for them. Any gentlemen that wants a reference from me must personally call me and he will get his reference immediately after I check the provider out. Thats right, I do make sure the provider is listed here on TER and I only contact her from the information she has posted on this site. I don't want to get caught up in a sting myself.

I've only had two ladies ask for references, and the last reference was so lame and cursory that it was a waste of her time. But she saw me anyway and a good time was had by all.
Like the evidence here on TER is good (established reviewers giving her positive reviews), but for some reason my intuition is telling me not to go there.
I saw my first provider... and she didn't screen. She had plenty of reviews, and the whole experience was okay.. so you probably shouldn't worry too much.

It's really important to go with your gut feelings. But...
She might have googled your name, your email address, found your professional information, verified you through a reverse phone directory, etc. without you knowing about it at all. And she might not have.
Yet, the situation you are describing doesn't seem unusual to anyone. You seemed to have been forthright and told her a lot about yourself, and many ladies will accept personal information in lieu of references from other ladies. Also, after a while a woman develops her own intuition for this. She might have a "good feeling" of her own about you. Everyone has a different screening process, and a good deal of that is often feminine intuition.
If she has reviews and a good reputation, and you have no other "warning signs", I'd relax about it.

Not everyone requires in references. You told her your name phone info its possible she checked you out already or is in process.
If you're worried about it email her and ask her if she has enough info or needs more. A well reviewed lady with 7 months under belt being reviewed is not likely LE.
Of course you should always go with your gut so if you dont wanna see her dont, pick someone who suits your style more.

She might have had a long day and it just plain slipped her mind.
Dont be paranoid if she is on here and well reviewed she is not LE.

The best way to avoid problems with law enforcement is to never do anything illegal!
Keep your appointment with her and go in prepared to have a good time, but don't solicit her or respond to any solicitations for the purpose of prostitution.
When you arrive at her place or she arrives at your place, give her the agreed upon fee and then relax and let her take the lead. If she is a legitimate provider (which she probably is), she will accept the money without a word and then take things to the next level.
If she asks you what you expect in exchange for her fee, tell her that you are paying for her time only. If she says she charges a certain amount for sex or sexual services, tell her there has been a misunderstanding and leave.

is much lower than you would think. I doubt that even one it ten of the providers I see ever ask for a provider reference.
If she has your real name and number, especially if your number is listed you have shown enough good faith to satisfy most providers. That fact that you offerred the information probably goes a long way towards making her feel comfortable as well.
I would not be worried. No, I doubt she is LE. Yes, you are being paranoid. Now go enjoy yourself.
