Never done an outcall, looking for any and all tips on how to get a good hotel for a one hour outcall in the evening without raising any suspicion or having any other trouble.

Do you just walk out after your appointment is over or do you actually stay there for the night and do check-out at the desk? How does that work?
...I check in at 3pm or so, have my playdate sometime in the 5-8pm realm, then I express check out from the room immediately afterwards. The only excpetion is when I'm trying to get as much bang for my hotel buck and also scheduled an early AM outcall the next morning with someone else. Then I check out with everybody else 
But I have had too many cancels/NCNS's with outcalls so as not to do them anymore. Sad.

I simply leave the key in the room and leave. Sometimes I don't even remember to leave the key, they cost less than a penny apiece nowadays, so it's not like it's costing the hotel anything unlike back in the old days when we use real metal keys.
Personally, I don't even bother with a cover story, nor do I bring luggage unless I plan on staying overnight. Nobody cares if you are there to get laid, actually men/women there to hook up are a lot less work for the hotel staff.
Now once again there is a double standard. A provider who is checking in alone and who plans on entertaining from her hotel room needs to employ a LOT more discretion than a man who is booking a room for an outcall. I don't even try to hide the fact I am there to hook up, but I don't go so far as to say it's with a hooker. There is no law against "hooking up" but you don't want to wave illegal activity in front of the staff. I often check in a hotel together with the various SB's I see, most of them are a good thirty years younger than me or even more, It doesn't bother me at all that the front desk clerk knows I am there to get laid. Of course with Sugar Baby, no laws are being broken, but who can honestly tell whether the young lady with you is a hooker, a sugar baby, or just a young hot thing with a Daddy fetish. lol
In short, don't get all paranoid about the hotel staff, they are there to serve you, not interrogate you.
Let's say I want to do an outcall at a local hotel in my city at say 9-10pm, but I can't arrive there until close to 7-8pm after work and dinner, and then I want to go home afterwards at like 11. Could I just leave at that time, or do I need to stay the night and check out in the morning to avoid suspicion?
There is no reason to stay all night unless she leaves you in a puddle of your own goo and you don't have the strength to drive home that night. Or unless you want to call another girl over for a morning appointment the next day, but seriously most regular travelers don't ever bother to actually check out of their room in the morning. The only time I actually check out is if I have a hefty bar/restaurant tab that I want to look over before signing off on it.

I always just leave the room keys on the dresser and leave, I never actually check out formally.
Sb and I sometimes meet at 3:30 in the afternoon for sex only date (well maybe a pizza) and I will sometimes be home by 7:00-8:00.

No can do brother, I'm an 8-5 Mon-Fri grinder. I could do that on the weekends though. I can find a serviceable overnight hotel in my city on short notice for just under $100 after taxes and fees, but since money is tight for me, I thought about hosting the outcall-only provider at my apartment but I'm scared to do that until I've met her first. Just need to know what the best play is.
Living by myself, I have the luxury of doing so, and I have a house so nosy neighbors are not a problem.
However, you are wise to not have anyone over that you do not know well. It can be a set up to get robbed or worse.
If you can cook, you can save money on eating out, and probably prepare a better meal, and not have the hassle of driving around, parking, etc. I almost always do that.
If you like her, you can always have her over to your apartment the next time you see here.
I don't have any such apprehensions about having a girl/hooker/SB over to my house to fuck, but I have been at this a LONG LONG time.
Do what you need to do to feel at ease. You don't want to ruin the mood by being overly nervous around her.

If you host an outcall, in addition to the cost of the room it is always a good idea to be hospitable and have some beverages and snacks / fruit available.
Definitely good points. My question is just in relation to an outcall-only provider who interests me.
I will usually get a hotel that is 4 to 6 miles from my house and check in early before 3PM or at 3PM and then leave unless I have a meeting with a lady within check in. I go home and set something up with a provider and then I return back to the hotel for my meeting. By checking in before 3PM or at 3, I have between 3pm and 12 noon the next day to stain the hotel sheets. This gives me plenty of time to use the hotel room as a crash pad.
Just get the room.. use it, leave.... Since the address on my DL was a mile from the hotel, the desk staff did raise an eybrow. I just told them, my wood floors were being redone and the smell was giving me a head ache, so just needed head ache relief.
