Blacklist

Hi new provider here. Just wondering how would I go about black listing a phone number and/or email? I've been getting rude messages from people I can't/won't let me verify and just want to let other providers know that these "guys" are there to waste your time.

I would like to know the same thing and how to view reviews from clients..

Personally, I don't feel that a person who simply refuses to provide the screening info you require is a blacklist-worthy offense but you are entitled to your opinion.

It can be very frustrating, but it's part of the business and I don't feel like spending MORE time on these jokers by going to the trouble of reporting them.

Now if they eat up a significant amount of your time with repeated calls, emails, stringing you along by saying they'll send the required details soon..... yes, that's extremely rude behavior and I've seen many blacklists for just that.

But if it's only an email/PM or two and then he moves on?   I think that's fairly normal and to be expected.
If I blacklisted everyone who sent me a message but then balked once I told him what I require, I'd be spending a large chunk of time every week just making such reports.
They don't want to give up their info?  That's totally fine.  Next!  ;-)

All that being said, if you want to blacklist clients for any offense then VerifyHim, NationalBlackList, and SafeOffice are the main sites.

I actually brought up the topic of blacklisting timewasting clients last year; link to that thread is below.  Hope that helps!  :-)

Well besides wasting time he started to get very vulgar and extremely disrespectful to me. Normally I'll ignore it (three times), after the third time then I'll block their number. It's just the last person that did this got pretty racist/violent  and just wanna let other providers out there to know to watch out for this guy if they ever meet up with him.

But cool thank you so much for the info!!!!

you can report the number on Mr number VH and everywhere else, report for time-waster, there's several options that you can use on VH to blacklist. NCNS, harassing, rude messages, dangerous, short pay etc. There's about 60-70 options.

I’d definitely recommend VH. Personally I really appreciate blacklisting of any kind. For example, a “time wasting” blacklist is super helpful because if I get an email from said person, I’ll still try to verify and set up an appt, but I won’t go out of my way and cancel my own plans for the day.

I see the many, many categories for blacklisting as just getting as much info as possible so at the end of the day I don’t end up sitting at home, angry.

So in my opinion, blacklist away! Just make sure the category you’re choosing for the BL is correct :)

Those who fall into the timewasting category for scheduling then going radio-silent, NCNS, and last-minute cancelling will normally receive a BL from me.

However, the OP at first only mentioned people who contact her and then refuse to give screening info.   To me, that is not worth spending more time just to BL him.

She then clarified that this is someone who became verbally abusive, which is absolutely something which needs to be reported.  Guys like that can escalate to physical violence.
