I have heard of some well-reviewed providers asking for a pic I myself do not answer for one.
But,if a provider advertising on BP,has no reviews,and she is asking for a pic you should be very cautious.
You do not know who you are sending a pic to.Does her ad or website specify in order to set up an appointment she needs a pic?I am sure you can find many providers that do not require a pic.

1) If you looked thoroughly, and she has no reviews forget her. You can try googling or binging her with her name and phone number if she provided one or her email address. Why TOFTT when you  have so many reviewed choices with accurate pics?
2) While many legit providers do use BP because it's one more source of ads that's cheap,  a huge ratio of rip off artists do as well, and it's going to always be a mine field poised to give you a bad result, where with no reviews and no pics or the worst pictures in the world you're in TOFTT money waste territory when you never needed to be.
3) Have you spent any time using TER VIP to go to New Reviews for your area and looking for providers in the 15 or so pages at your fingertips there?  That'd be a lot more productivese of your timie than focusing on BP.

4) I'd never send your pic in those circumstances to someone on BP for whom you can find no substantive info. Send your pic to the provider who has given you a good experience if she wants it later.  Why not send her a request for a link to good pics and especially her reviews?  Bet she doesn't have any or won't respond.  No reviews>move on, unless you're really into Russian Roulette with an unhappy ending.

I always say this.  Never put yourself in a potentially bad spot.  Discretion works both ways.  I wouldn't provide anyone a pic.

Have you asked arouns other boards if anyone has seen her? Maybe she's legit and being super careful because of some bad experiences and doesnt want reviews. Yes be very careful but if you're going to poke around for info on boards, find out if anyone has seen her while you're at it!

She has no reviews. You can't find any independently variable info. She(!) wants Your picture!
Don't do it. Not necessary. Find a provider with reviews and a good reputation. Wherever you find her check for reviews.

who works with a guy and the guy robs people at knife-point. So be very careful with BP providers.

Not all are bad. As has been said above, it is a very cost-effective way of advertising. But do your due diligence and be very careful. I agree that it is better to stick with someone who has reviews or at least some other web presence besides BP. P411 and Date-Check are good places because the providers have to be verified too.

Thanks everyone! I felt uneasy about sending a pic, but figured Id check with you all. Will move on from "her" and probably BP altogether. Will try a local service to build some references. Maybe try P411or a VIP here. Thanks again.

BP has legit posts because it's a cheap ad venue, but it is a mine field with a huge ratio of ripoffs to legit posts.  There is no reason to send her your pic.  If you did a decent search for her reviews, you set yourself up for a big disappointment if you see her unreviewed.  You haven't even made it clear if you have a decent pic of her, (often they're ridiculous pics on BP), and how would you know if it's real anyway.  If she's unreviewed, why risk a bad experience?

Why not go to your local reviews and read reviews and pick out providers you want to see with outstanding consistent reviews and pics?
