I am NYC provider and have been getting clients here and there, but none of them are TER reviewers. I really need a TER review. My ad used to say "BOGO for established hobbyist," but I edited it off because a provider friend told me it's against the TER rules. Is there any way to get around the no-incentive rules? I really want to find a TER reviewer, but don't know how to go about it. Any advice would be appreciated. If BOGO is not allowed, are other incentives allowed?

I've been trying to figure this one out myself.

I seen nothing wrong with giving an incentive for someone to write a review, including BOGO.

What would be wrong is to give an incentive to write a GOOD review, as opposed to writing an honest review.

After all, the more reviews TER gets. the better.  The decisive issue is that they be honest.

Many gals encouraged me to start writing reviews, and while I did not get any financial break, I'm sure it helped cement our relationships in some way.

...TER members. Make it for a specified time period (and make that very clear). Put it in your regional ad board ad where TER members will see it. Don't mention reviews until he's leaving. Then say something like, feel free to write a review. Don't say anything about it being a good review or anything that might be construed as pressure to write a review or pressure to write a good review.  

TER doesn't allow any discounts or special favors for a review.

Brilliant idea, thank you. I am willing to give a 50% discount to TER members. But how do I verify he is in fact a TER member? I can't send private messages, so I assume I can't receive them either?

Then you can make him prove he is a TER member by having him (Who must also be VIP) by sending a PM to you.

Once you get a review, you can ask TER for limited VIP membership which is free, and which will enable you to use the PM system.

If you were ever to go that route, do it on the second visit AFTER the review is up. You are not suppose to do that per TER rules, as everyone just said. Don't ever advertise that either!

If you want reviews... here's a thought: Write down the websites and links to your reviews. When a guy is leaving, say you would greatly appreciate a review. Ask if he already does them (which you should know anyways because of screening him). If the guy doesn't know where to go, just give him the paper so it is easier on him to get there and get-r-done. After that, don't hound him. If he does, he does. If you do this every time, eventually someone will do it

That's about all you can do. I don't suggest trades or discounts for reviews. I don't blame anyone for doing it but it is not the best way to go.

Some guys, well most, have no clue about reviews etc. If you help them to at least get to where they need to go, it might workout.

...you could send and receive PM's. Many providers do this. You can always cancel the paid VIP once you get a review and qualify for the free limited Provider VIP. The provider VIP gives you access to the TER PM system.

at the bottom of your post. Without looking at your website, there is no way I would schedule an appointment with you.  You need to get your smiling face, sexy body, etc. out there for guys to get interested in you.  

A blanket TER discount should be OK.  

I also happen to think "established TER members [meaning "with reviews"]" should also be OK.  
So a new member who joined just to see you would not get that discount. Tell him, wink wink, that if he publishes a review on TER, he will qualify.

As xyz said, a specified time is better than unspec'd so that guys don't become complacent or put things off ("Oh, I'll call next month and ask about the special.") and are not disappointed or angry ("But your site said DISCOUNT for the past year! I want the discount NOW!").  

Depending on how things go, you can run a limited promo and keep repeating it until you are where you want to be.  
"February Special: Established TER Members get Discount X."  
"March Special: Established TER Members get Discount X."  
"April Special ..."

You can get monthly paid VIP for around $30/month using anonymous gift cards as payment.  

With paid VIP, you can read the reviews from TER guys asking for your time. That is another form of screening for you. If all of his reviews say stuff that you don't do or make you think that you won't be a good match, you can decline to meet him and avoid the risk of disappointing him and getting a bad review.  

Do NOT just trust regular email or text for proof of a TER ID. Guys have been known to steal or borrow handles and say, "Oh ... I can't PM right now because my VIP lapsed." Either PM back and forth on TER or get him to post a "secret" message.  In regular email, you send, "So I know it's really you, reply to my post and end your post with this: 123#456&789.  No one will know what it means except me (and you)." If he says he is mrfisher but he can't log in and post the code as mrfisher, then he ain't mrfisher.

(I just picked mrfisher's handle at random.)

Asking for a favorable review. At least it used to be okay.

When I first started I reached out to a lady who was older than I was and asked her if she could help me figure out what to do. She recommended that I offer a discount for reviews because I needed reviews.  I also offered a very steep discount, like half off, as you were thinking. I think I got 5-7 reviews in two weeks and it helped so much.  

BUT... I offered my discount on another site which is gone now.  

I'm certain I have seen ads on TER saying that a discount is offered for reviews.   I'm pretty sure I even asked TER about it but things might've changed since then.

You can always scroll to the bottom of any page and contact TER  and ask them what their policy is regarding offering a discount for a review.  

But offering an incentive for a favorable review is definitely against the rules and can get you suspended.

There's one more thing i want to tell you...I wish I would've known when I started that you can never get those first reviews off of there. I have a lot of lower numbers from when I first started. When I realized how important reviews were I wouldn't see a client unless I had time to fix my hair and do my make up. I watched YouTube videos to learn how to do  my hair and make up better and more glamorously.  Any client can be a review writer, so they should all get the best you can give. Maybe you can learn from my mistake and get good reviews right from the start.

(If the acronyms aren't clear, that's OK. It means you should ask some more Qs on newbie!) It's hard to tell from your web site what sort of companionship you offer: FBSM, non-GFE FS, GFE FS, PSE, etc..  That's OK because your Profile and reviews will eventually let us know.  

However, your first clients may have no clue. And - THIS IS IMPORTANT - clients meeting someone new and naive may pressure you to do things that you don't want to do. You may say, "I don't do that." and they'll say, "But EVERYBODY does that.  If you don't do that then I'll write a bad review."  

Set your limits and be prepared to stick to them. Regarding "everybody does that," be prepared (from TER discussions and reviews) to defend your position and (using your preferred method: humor, sarcasm, direct contradiction, etc.) deflect the pressure and point out that you know better and that you have limits.

Post an ad on TER on your regional ad board.

Maybe say "looking for new clients and new reviews" in the ad.

I've talked to several providers that offer extra time on the next visit for a review.  
 Everything is negotiable and communication is key.

After seeing some reviewed ladies and being burned a couple  
times with others, (before I was on TER) I prefer knowing a little
about the provider and reviews help to get exactly what I'm looking for.
