I'm heading to Detroit and thought I'd drop into the Michigan board to see what discussion is going on. Absolutely none. They get about one post every couple of days and in two pages there are no hobbyist posts. What's up with that? Don't they hobby in Detroit?

Maybe a bunch of us should head over there and see if we can liven it up a bit. :)

hilarious. I think you're suffering from living in a state like New Jersey. I realize you guys have it tough being pinched between NYC and Philly. Maybe your identifying with having your neighborhood picked on and are feeling some empathy with the folks in Michigan.

Remember the old joke?
"Hey? you're from New Jersey? So am I... What exit?"

But seriously. All the posts were in good natured fun. I didn't read any of them as an attack. And you should read this one as on on you either. Juts consider it a poke in the ribs with a grin. :)

There is a prevailing local community that stays pretty self contained (read: cliquish).  The Michigan board is somewhat new also...so I think is still not quite taken off yet.
