Just got off the phone with a very realiable source. He told me to warn the indies in NYC to be extra careful with their screening. LE is going to start to crack down and they are very aware of the boards.
I'm not crying wolf, my source is the same person who warned me about Long Island months ago. When I posted the LI warning here, many of you thought I was just stirring the pot, BUT now you know how HOT LI is these days.
Also, he told me Nassau County is still ok for the girls, but stay away from Suffolk. Those blue boys are not fun to deal with.

It's probably a misdemeanor for the guy. In NYC they send you to "John School", and if you don't get in trouble, it's erased. However, you do run the risk of having your name plastered all over the newspaper. So, be very careful.
As a lifelong terminally cynical NYer something is definitely WRONG with this picture, but I'm not sure just what it is yet. At the risk of offending providers for whom this question has an entirely different and much more significant resonance, let me think aloud for a bit [other cynical and embittered NYers PLEASE join in] ;
1. don't forget these are the same NYPD bozos who bought into last week's subway threat, which Homeland Security advised was not credible and a few days later it was revelaed that an untrustworthy informer in Iraq made up the whole damn thing. I mean, how incompetent do you really have to be as an organization when you wind up second best to Homeland Security?;
2. NYC's donout-eating, bribe-taking, do-little- but-stand-aound-like-scarecrows-and-pretend-they're-contributing-to-antiterrorist-efforts- constabulary simply has no organizational incentive to do much in the way of this, so look for at best a few token and relatively high-profile arrests. My advice is no celebrity clients and stay out of the better hotels;
3. i suspect that if this comes to pass it will be the public tip of an iceberg of immense proportion re NYPD corruption,
some of it involving payoffs from high-end escort services and/or really downmarket illegal alien sex slave types. They're trying some pre-emptive damage control?;
4. a high-profile, mover-and-shaker type has had a bad experience or in some way was cheated by a provider recently, and now is using his pull with the municipal authorities to get even.
A month from now, when this proves to have been a big nothing, will the posters be willing to reveal what info has them so worried?
Look, as long as you've not got young kids take a vacation for a few weeks.
