New York

When you can get a decent room for $120 or less, why pay $400 for a NYC hotel? Also incidentals....

like food, condoms, and drinks are absurdly priced in NYC. What, you don't have a car?

i've noticed a seemingly growing number of providers on tour who consistantly avoid coming to nyc. they come to the area but stay in long island, or jersey or westchester. ladies....are we that bad????? i see some of you visiting rutherford nj....RUTHERFORD NEW JERSEY?!?!?!?! what the hell is so appealling about rutherford nj?
now i certainly don't mind sharing the wealth, but most of these providers Never tour the city.
any reason?
thanks

The obvious guess on this one is the cost of doing business.  Hotels and other necessities in NYC are much more expensive than the surrounding areas.  More to the bottom line, maybe?  Just a guess . . .

I am in nyc all the time.  Not everyone needs to post about where they are it only adds to way too many emails!!  Find someone you want to see and I bet they will travel for you.

I was getting frustrated with the rates for the rooms!!!! The place I usually go is like 379 bucks a night, plus those evil NY hotel taxes...damn. But, March 22nd is my birthday and I want to be there anyway to celebrate. I guess is cheaper to stay in NJ, where you can get a typical nice corporate type of hotel for half of NYC rates.

If I'm going to spend 3 or 4 days away from my home, the hotel needs to offer comfort for me and my guests.
I'm a clean freak, I like to have nice and fresh sheets for every client, and I need a surplus of plushy towels or all sizes.
In a nicer hotel, they don't care how many you use a day, but in a cheaper one, they watch what you get real closely and you can see thru the towels, and sheets are paper thin too.

you can have it all! low rates and a great hotel!
PS there are other services also like hotels.com.
