What's going on? Twice in the past week -- yes, WEEK -- two girls in a car have sidled up to me on the street and asked if I wanted some "company." Both times the car was decent, the second one was a nice SUV, and both times the girl who gave me the shout-out was about an 8 in appearance.
I've seen car dates referred to on Craig's List, though I have to admit the idea seemed unappealing. But I almost get the feeling this is some kind of new deal in which hot looking young women think it's OK to have a semi-pro night out once in a while.
So what's going on here? Anyone have any experiences they'd like to share?
One comment: The closest experience I've had to this is spotting a girl in a nice hotel and making a "date" on the spot. In both cases the experience wasnt that great and certainly not GFE. So at this point I'm more curious than interested.

Maybe you should stop circling the block for hours at a time in those seedy neighborhoods.
For the record, I was on foot, and the neighborhood wasnt seedy.

Dude, be careful. NYC LE has been known to put ladies on the street seeking company and then busting you. The hook is to get you to tell them that you want a BJ or sex. I wouldn't be surprised if they've moved that operation to cars.
The first car was driven by a good-looking redhead in her 20s. In the second car, a good-looking black girl called out to me from the passenger side.
I cant really see the upside of this for me. I'm trying to cut back anyway, especially on reckless behavior, and it seems at least potentially reckless to get in a car with strangers, especially under these circumstances.
Just wondering wearing my sociology hat what exactly is going on here.
I presuem it's crossed your mind that it could be LE? I don't mean to be a buzzkill, but that, as well as the aforementioned dangers of getting into a car with strangers, would be enough for me to give this a miss.
