DFK, BBBJ, DATY COULD transmit an STD. If the person infected has a Sore (Canker Sore), Cut, Lesion or is bleeding from its enzymes you COULD get infected. There are Women Condoms if you love DATYing and are concerned.

Most Agencies with a reputation will demand that their ladies are tested monthly to avoid to protect their image but there is always the agencies/providers that don't practice this procedure.

I suggest when booking an Independent or an Agency Driven Provider you ask for proof of the latest tests that lady has taken, by the way they react and respond to your legitimate question you will know if the Agency and/or provider should be trusted and you then decide which way to go.

Hope this helps,

As a newcomer to this hobby, I'm a little concerned about catching an STD. I will definitely use a cover for FS, but is it common to catch something from a BBBJ or DATY? Are most girls who work for an agency tested? Any info would help greatly. Thanks.

Although most of us would like to be open about our negative status, to do so would leave us legally vulnerable.  Many ladies, myself included, make it quite clear that any reference to sex at all will result in your email being deleted with no further communication.  This does not mean that the lady doesn't care about her health or the health of her clients.  Also, to provide actual proof of negative status would mean giving out our real name.  No way... it ain't gonna happen.

I would NOT recommend that you rely on the agency to make sure their ladies are tested.  I have never dealt with any agency or madam that took that responsibility.  It is the responsibility of you and your partner and nobody else.

On the up side, if you see a working porn actress, you can pretty much be assured that she has a recent negative result of an HIV test.  Porn actors & actresses must have a negative result of an HIV PCR/DNA test (highly accurate-- after only two weeks from exposure) that is less than 30 days old to be able to shoot scenes.

Another option is to play in a legal brothel in Nevada, where they are required by law to test for STDs.

Dear Caitlin,

I have dealt with Pornstars, Independent Providers and Agencies for the past 13 years so when I am advising the gentleman is because those that I have dealt with do provide this evidence if asked.

When I see a Pornstar either direct or via Agency, the first thing they do is show me the proof of their recent tests, some of them are 30 days old others are two weeks old, depending on the production company they are working for, (i.e., Vivid, VCA, Metro, Digital Playground and JKP to name a few), the last time they worked and/or have the test done. The Providers at the Nevada Brothels such as Moonlight Bunny Ranch get tested on a weekly basis for everyone’s sake since it is a legal business and the least the ownership wants is a bad reputation for having STD infected providers working actively which would eventually close their operations at a minimum.

Several Agencies that I currently do business with in Boston, Philly, NYC and Florida do ask the ladies to get tested if they wish to remain working for that particular Agency and must provide proof of these tests on a monthly basis.

Independent providers such as yourself is another story and is up to you ladies to have yourselves tested on a regular basis for everyone’s sake but primary your health but it is not a requirement (IS PRETTY DAMN EXPENSIVE). If we just had an AIM Testing Center in every City how good and economical would it be right?

I personally test my self for a DNA/PCR HIV every other month for my peace of mind and for the lady I am spending time with.

Your statement: "Many ladies, myself included, make it quite clear that any reference to sex at all will result in your email being deleted with no further communication" is TOTALLY true but since I come referred I don’t have this problem regularly but occasionally. When I am to meet someone after all the research I have done, (i.e., reviews from various boards and sources and back channeling), after corresponding with the provider several times were she feels comfortable and when I can sense a good chemistry between ourselves, I politely ask her if I can further discuss, graphically what I expect on our meeting, if she agrees I proceed if not I move a long, no ones is hurt, unsatisfied nor disrespected. I am not paying for surprises and the provider does not have to or is obligated to respond to my requests either. This is a two-way thing just like any other relationship. No one can force anyone to answer or do things for any price and does who do I would rethink of meeting them.

Peace,

The Good Doctor
