Recently I clicked on the link of a provider whom had commented on a hobbyist's post. She is gorgeous and nice in our correspondence, but, much to my surprise she does not have any reviews nor does she want any. If you were me, would you take the plunge? I am nervous about following through with her.

You will sometimes see on the local board a Q about a new provider with an ad but no reviews: "Anybody seen Mary?" or "Is Mary the real deal?" (include the ad link in the post or you will get ignored or flamed). Once in a while, a reputable monger will reply in the affirmative and be available to PM more details.  

Without more info, I'd be reluctant to TOFTT. You appear to be inquiring about NYC, so you have many, many other choices.

I think you should give new providers a chance! I myself am a recently new provider and I truly appreciate when a gentlemen takes the time to know who I am as a provider and what I have to offer.

I think you should give new providers a chance! I myself am a recently new provider and I truly appreciate when a gentlemen takes the time to know who I am as a provider and what I have to offer.

I think that's what she is talking about, every woman here has to start somewhere. If no one ever TOFTTs there would never be any new talent to choose from.

I will say I would be a LOT more likely to take a chance on a woman with no reviews who I saw from a post on TER than I would a random Eros ad.  

If the OP would tell us who he's talking about and exactly where and when he found her, we might be able to give him better advice than the usual mantra of "only see TER reviewed providers"

I think the guys here owe your first two reviewers a thank you for taking a chance on you before you had reviews, you certainly look like a keeper:)  Ok, that's all the sucking up for me for the day. lol

Yes, SOMEONE has to TOFTT at some point.  But sometimes, there is a referral from a close friend or another Provider that we know which makes it easier and safer to take one.  
.
A TER board presence does help, but more than just one reply would help a lot more.

By posting an "Anybody seen her? (+ link)" request, he is basically going to get more feedback and Qs beyond a simple Y or N.

I'll stand by my original "IN GENERAL, no" and still ask for more info, even if it's the vibe you pick up from email and PMs.

I think if you want to be on the "safer" side you'd want to go with a girl who has at least a couple of reviews to make sure it's a legit reputable provider.

If you're not getting any bad vibes and she seems nice then why not? Take a chance if your that curious.

For a LOT of guys, myself included, activities like DFK, BBBJ and DATY are VERY important in a session. Without reviews guys might be booking appointments with a provider such as you with no way of knowing in advance that they are going to be disappointed to find out that you offer none of those activities.

THAT is just one very good reason to see providers that are reviewed. Not going to jail, getting robbed, etc etc are also some other very good reasons too of course. lol
