BOYCOTT the big Apple for six months. Since they can't appreciate an upscale lady. Organize yourself on the provider-only board and pick a period of time where you avoid both the NY TER forum and NYC all together. Maybe when they find that they got to go back to the good ol days of picking up Crack Hoes off the streets, then maybe they'll learn.

People will always find some thing to complain about. I've never understood why guys complain about ladies' rates when there is so much choice across different levels.
I guess they just don't like the idea of paying for sex and hate the fact they have to do so. I had one guy a few days ago actually go to the effort of sending me an SMS telling me I'd never get bookings in Dublin because my rates are too high. What a sad, empty life he must have to actually take the time to do that! So of course I'm now very amused as I'm fully booked on my tour there

Every businessperson decides the profit margin he or she feels is necessary to make the effort of being in business worth the effort. He or she then evaluates the actual cost of doing business (which absolutely does vary from market to market) and loads the cost by their margin to establish a price. "Gouging" is not a factor unless one also accuses hotels, restaurants, rental cars, spas, and countless other businesses that cost more in New York than elsewhere. The fools who waste oceans of "ink" bewailing what visiting ladies (and many resident ladies, by the way) feel they must charge to maintain their margins just don't get it. That's how a free market economy works; sellers set prices, consumers either pay those prices or shop elsewhere.
And as to Sara, I hope she thoroughly enjoys her New York experience and sells out.

I was taught that if people want to be rude, fine - ignore them. When they realize that they are not getting any attention (which is what they seek), then they move on to something else that may garner them the ego boost they crave.
I've defended ladies pricing for awhile. If someone doesn't like it, for whatever reason, judt don't see the lady. There are many wonderful, affordable, ladies at a lower price point. For those of that can afford it, we make our own decisions, thank you. If someone else thinks we are suckers for the higher price, then they simply don't get it and want to spwe ignorant bullshit.
So, IMHO, let's not punish the silent majority b/c of the obnoxious minority.

"Smelly" has become a de facto username. BTW, I'm not dazed and confused, just sober for too long! LOL I will also be happy to admit I'm no fan of increased provider rates exclusively for our community. I'm no fan of the IRS either!
If hobbyists are going to be shut out by a provider boycott, than the hobby becomes not too much different from the non-commercial sex world, where probably more than a few of us are getting shut out to some extent or another.
This might drive many a hobbyist back to the civie world, where, under the desperate spur of sexual urgency, many lose weight, start to dress better, get their teeth capped, invest in hair implants, develop new social skills, cultivate new opposite sex relationships, etc... and bid goodbye to the hobby, some possibly ferever.
Not of course, that there isn't a slew of others to replace them. But the devil that you already know...
