I am new to these boards but not to being a hobbyist and it seems to me that the problem is Information. Everybody posting here should be passing info to help another person out! If a person has info or inside info and maybe not all the facts,let them post it!Do your own fucking research.I need help and i want to help others!If TER does not post info,They are the problem! I had inside info of a particular house of domination being raided and TER never posted It! Period! After numerous attempts so fuck them! Along with posting reviews of real experiences with providers that they also never posted! I would be surprised if they post This!WTF kind of board is this..who moderates this board, Jesse Helms and Jimmy Swaggart.There should be no moderating of this board WHATSOEVER!NONE! ZERO! End Of fucking Story!The ONLY info that should not be passed is info on providers.LOC. #'s where they are, Etc.If you have a problem with what people post, YOUR the problem!What Kind of fucked up board is this, I can get better info on providers in the Vatican! It should be a lot closer to what junfan says than what it is today. Obviously because of the discretion needed, some moderation is necessary. As junfan points out, identifying info should be moderated out. But refusing to post reviews because they're "inconsistent" or posts because they're "hurtful" sounds like we're caught somewhere between a high school English class and kindergarten recess!
I don't like the hand of Big Brother intervening in my posts or reviews any more than the next person. That being said: No, Dingus, TER should not be a free for all. It seems to me that there are already some fairly flakey posts included on the board - with no refence to this thread intended - so a fairly free flow of information seems to prevail already. And I would wholeheartedly endorse moderating posts that are hurtful. Much though I have had my own disagreements with Staff, I must admit that there is a tone and a quality to TER that the rules and the moderating help to create, and I would hate to see that degraded. I suppose it was the objection to having something moderated as "hurtful" that pushed my button here. The TER community can be pretty rough and tumble at times, but there is a sense that everyone knows there is a line none of us wants to cross, and that is when we go beyond bruising and leave scars. If I crowd that line, I want to be told, and I think most other folks on this board would feel similarly
