As Smelly Smegma once my scourge sits beside me at the Mod round table (his mitre worn slightly askew of course) I have spent the day contemplating the news (...beats working).

What caused this cataclysmic event?

1. There is a new designer drug making the rounds in L.A. that we haven't heard of on the east coast yet.

2. Hell really did freeze over.

3. Smelly finally had his Make a Wish granted.

4. Somebody in L.A. REALLY HATES ME!!!

5. Smelly hacked TER and gave himself mod powers.

6. The_legend_of_MJ, CL Boston pimp extraordinaire finally graced TER with his presence.

While all these explanations are plausible, Occum’s Razor tells us that the simplest explanation is usually the correct one.

The Curse has been reversed again!

The Red Sox finally win a World Series after 86 years. We Bostonians foolishly think are free of the Curse (of the Bambino).

Less than two years later, we must come to terms with another curse visited upon us from New York.
