people skills in a customer service roll is anathema to me??? Josh acts like we should be "honored that he is taking the time out of his busy day" to speak with one of us. If Kim had a clue how many 10s of thousands of $$$$$$$$ this guy has lost BDJ, she'd take swift action. No amount of training is going to help a miserable person with no interpersonal skills whatsoever become service oriented. One can only conclude that Kim is rolling in so much dough so fast, that losing otherwise loyal clients is immaterial. I've kept quiet about this for the better part of a year, assuming the problem would rectify itself. It hasn't, and the problem is bigger than ever. Why Kim doesn't wake up and smell the coffee is beyond me. I used to be a regular, but don't need insults and hissy fits from some punk with a plethora of problems and issues.

After a great many pm's and pouring over that borderline nasty email you sent me and with considerable thought I have decided to go public again with your reprehensible attitude towards clients in general.  You have alienated a good many hobbyists with your rude and unreal phone manner.  While I will continue to use BDJ when the mood strikes but if you answer the phone, I will simply hang up if you answer.  Something you have done to others in the past.  So turnabout is fair play, no?  I have used BDJ since Kim opened the company a few years back.  So it's not fair I should punish her because of one bad seed.  Your boorish phone manners imply a lack of respect.  Just so you understand, you are really employed in a customer service capacity.  You do not generate revenue.  It is the girls.  Then without the men, you would simply be without employment.  I am guessing in this field you feel it's ok to be a lone ranger sort and wield your own brand of power.  Such a pity.  Yes you are gay.  We all know this.  But to bring your cattiness to the office is unacceptable.  I have been here long before you and will be long after you have left.  I have been in this hobby long before you were wearing chaps and listening to the Village People.  Since you have no problems treating clients and potential clients in such a beliggerent manner, do you treat the girls in a similar fashion?  I would be willing to bet a resounding yes.  I am absolutely aghast at your email to me.  Your insolent attitude still shocks me.  I have contacted Kim to let her know my displeasure in you.  Do you have some kind of hidden agenda?  That whole Sandra incident has eaten away at me.  Sending a client to a hotel when she is clearly not there and blaming it on Kim is completely irresponsible.  I know for a fact she was not even there at the time.  Please do not dispute this.  You will get ripped to shreads. Your livelyhood exists in a straights man's world and you need to adjust accordingly or you will drown or Kim will lose business.  When potential girl's who want to work for her read stuff like this, they will immeidately go to others.  It's a fact.  No client or lady should be treated like a Grand Canyon pack mule and dumped on.  Please take heed. Although I doubt you will.  I was forced to take this to a public forum as your email pushed me to the limits.  I am guessing you feel you are an untouchable. You are easily replacable.

I do have an excellent reputation in this business. And quite honestly you are out of line sir. If you must act this way you obviously are a very petty man. I have apologized if I have been rude. You have not accepted. Please reveal your identity to the agency and we will be happy to not book any appointments for you.

Josh, responses like that will get you flamed even more. This has to be the 4th or 5th thread I've read on poor BDJ customer service. Wouldn't it be easier to work with steady clients and offer them discounts when a schedule mixup takes place? If you sent Rob out to a no show, just make it up to him with a discount, and if you feel your cut is worth more than keeping a steady customer, you're only screwing yourself and BDJ's reputation. Think about it.

Let me start off by stating that I have never been a client of BDJ or spoken to Josh.  My observations are strictly from what I've read.  

Having said that, I note a clear common denominator:  Josh pisses a lot of guys off and everyone loves Kim.  Nevertheless, Kim (who is loved) specifically keeps Josh, so she must see something in him or some of these complaints are unfounded.

Josh, yes you painfully apologized to those you have offended yet the same comlaints keep coming up.  Are they all wrong?  Probably not.  Wake up, Josh, b/c if there is even a slither of truth to your obnoxiousness, Kim is no fool.  No one is indispensable.  And answering this post by asking the poster to "reveal your identity to the agency and we will be happy to not book any appointments for you" is just bad business unless ROB ripped you off or hit someone.  If everyone that loathed you, Josh, decided to boycott BDJ, Kim would have a problem.  Accept the fact that only b/c of Kim are you tolerated.

Now, I'm also sure that some hobbyists are absolute assholes to Josh.  Its tough to talk to a guy to schedule an appointment; sometimes even tougher for a macho hobbyist to schedule an appointment w/ a gay guy w/ an apparent dislike for some straight men. Understand he has an agenda and get over it.  That's not to say if he sends a hobbyist where there is no provider you shouldn't complain:  you should, loud and clear.  But let's not hit Josh for the sake of hitting him - he appears to be doing a great job all by himself of tightening the noose around his neck.

Just my 2 cents under a dreaded alias since I am not a client but one day may want to be when Josh leaves.

BDJ's neck. He has NO business dealing with customers, whether it's selling shoes or sex. He is rude, curt, arrogant, and couldn't give a flying F about the clientele. I've kept silent about this long enough. I don't know Dimeo, but he's on the money 100%.

I have never complained and I have been a customer at BDJ.  Sadly I have spoken to Josh, I just go thru it, as much as my dislike of speaking to him..

I ask for nothing back, but then again I have used BDJ once, and never again the whole conversation left a bad taste in my mouth (though the experience after was awesome).

Either way, I would never have posted here, or said anything except I just stumbled on the thread.

I gotta tell ya, I've been using BDJ for a while now and I have to say Josh has always treated me well on the phone.   I never had a problem with any phone person there.   They all seem to be very pleasant.

I've never used BDJ but have pondered it based on their good reviews. But based on the threads about this Josh guy, they're off my list for now.

As I have stated, I will simply hang up and call again in the hopes someone more courteous and professional will answer. BDJ has lots of great talent.  I am sure this heinous abomination will be corrected.
