END OF MESSAGE

I know there are more than their fair share of CL haters here.  But as someone that has had more hits than missed from this site, today's COVER STORY in the NY TIMES puts my trolling there to an end...

Ah, how I miss my ATF found from CL...

Oh well...it was fun while it lasted...

I doubt the party is over as nothing in this hobby can be called fullproof.  But this is exactly why I never see women who advertise on CL...or advertise there exclusively.  Very little track record and nothing to go on but a picture and a few words.

To each there own I guess....

Yikes. I don't want to get pinched. Although I've never used CL...all of this does make you wonder about all of it....doesn't it?
None of this should even BE a legal issue.

Hi Gents,
Yeah, CL has been all over the news here in Chicago too.  Busts on everything from underage prostitution rings to hobbyists to visiting girls.  LE is all over CL here. I hate to admit it but I started out using CL myself along with a few other well reviewed/legit girls here in Chicago.  That was about a year and a half ago so I can attest that some good ones DO start there.  Plus, I met some of my ATFs there as well.  Stay safe gents.

Smooches,
Cami~

Craig's List's Erotic Services section has always been a crapshoot. There have always been questionable, scary, dishonest, and law enforcement-related ads.  But occasionally you can hit paydirt (to mix metaphors).

Do you think law enforcement doesn't examine this board and all the other boards with erotic services ads?  Until prostitution is decriminalized, it will always be a cat and mouse game.  The real question is why the police invest resources in this at all.

i'm sure some experienced members have already written a primer to this effect so i'll just say in response:

that is why we should be careful in using the proper euphemisms to describe what they talking about and treat the forum and site like a "dating" public board. we should PM others if there are explicit questions. we also tend not to answer unknown aliases or relative newbies with incriminating info:)

it's just like the first time we meet a provider or agency (eg, verify on TER first, never discuss the business aspect if possible on boards or emails, bring the donation in an envelope that is laid on a nightstand or table without indication to its purpose, etc).
