You're right, if one is easily offended this is probably not a good place to hang. That said, it also doesn't mean that we shouldn't be civil to one another.
There are one or two characters that have frequented this board from time to time that are just plain nasty and mean-spirited. By that I mean it's one think to respectfully disagree with a point of view. It's quite another to personally attack someone because you don't agree with their point of view. I don't think we need that crap either.
But I do think it's odd that you'd post such a sentiment and not use your real handle. Doesn't that seem a bit hypocritical? You raise a good point so why not take credit for it?
