Since I started hobbying, I"ve only used Incall services or independent providers to retain my privacy. I frequent a few agencies and have gotten to know the phone girl and some owners pretty well and they have vouch for me with other agencies. With all the recent LE activity, I am afraid of Incall Services and Agencies and now even craigslist after I read the Journal News article. Here is my question to fellow hobbist, if you lived in a private house in NYC would you have a provider come to your home ? I am single and live alone, so no worry about family knowing. I dont want to pay for a hotel/motel room every time I want to see a girl for 1 or 2 hours. What are your experiences been with a provider going to your home? Anyone have bad experiences?
I don't live in NYC, but I haven't had any problems with my home at all. I had one provider tell me that she actually prefers visiting a private residence because there is very little chance of LE activity. As long as you have good common sense with selecting a provider and how you treat them, you shouldn't have a problem.

I think that I perfer to have a friend visit me. I like my cozy flat (lol) and my pets. It is true when a gf comes over to you the cab has to be covered. I would only consider going to a persons private home these day. And only with througho verification. No outcalls to hotel rooms based on bad experiences and le...
If I were a guy I would not go to an agency just because I would be afraid of exactly what is happening now. Indys like me don not keep info we simply take it verify and burn it. Well, I can speak for me. When you call me again I know who you are already because I don't do high volume so it takes about 1/2 a second for it to click. Last time I checked my brain isn't chipped YET...lol..

I would definitely have PROVEN ladies to my home if I didn't have to worry about a family or being outted(sp?).
I don't think that I'd leave out my personal information, wallet or maybe I'd collect some valuables and put them in a safe place. You never know and don't want the hassle of it all. I would say that most safe Indy's are pretty cool and just want the repeat business.
Mix the visits between you home and cost effective, but safe hotels. I sometime want a lady to stop by my home, but after having a couple ladies stop by, I will set up an appointment with one with her knowing that we will meet at a hotel. I carryon the rotation between my home and guest rooms throughout the year. I have found that this method allows me to deal with nosey neighbors, they do not know what is happening, only that I have a hot babe or two come into my home for a while.
"If you lived in a private house in NYC"--it would be worth $2 million in Manhattan, at least $750,000+ on Staten Island, Queens, or Brooklyn. The problem for almost all New Yorkers--no matter how wealthy--is neighbors and/or doormen in your apartment building, whether it is a four story walk-up on the lower East Side or a million dollar co-op on the Upper East Side.
The reason I have never, ever considered having a "friend" over has nothing to do with arranging it so that the wife is out when the "friend" is over; it is what happened to our neighbor who had the penthouse duplex in our building. The father who rode motorcyles and had a second wife 25 years younger owned the duplex penthouse but died suddenly of a heart attack. The son from Florida came up to settle up affairs, something we found out later. When I came home one night--this is a reasonably expensive co-op building--the doorman braced me at the front door and said that he wanted me to go up with him to the penthouse because someone had left a food delivery for Mr. XXX, the name of the dead man. So up I go with him, after he locks the outer lobby door and we knock on the penthouse door to deliver the takeout meals from a restaurant. Most doormen buildings will sometimes allow the food messenger in, sometimes not. The door opens and the son is barechested and two ladies in lingerie are on either arm. His eyes bulged out as he saw me in my pinstripe suit and the doorman carrying their dinner. Needless to say, he was gone by that doorman's shift the next day and a lawyer appeared to clean things up.
