the best posters around. He and I fought off the shills from New York Confidential a while back in a no-holds-barred barroom brawl that happened right here on the NY Discussion Board. Exposed the knuckleheads for what they were with words from their own postings when a NYCon client posted a trivial and minor criticism.
Now Frankie's hanging up his "Problem with this Review" quick-draw fingers in this 'burg because the stench of the shills and alias-posters has gotten to him.
Well, Pilgrim, sometimes a man's got to do what a man's got to do. So look out all you shills---Fair Warning. Anyone posting spontaneous and frequent paens to an agency or anyone drawing attention to an unreviewed or poorly reviewed provider and using an alias or without any reviews to their name--watch out. I'll slap on the post:"Shill, Shill Just Pay the Bill" faster than you can say Belle de Jour. Yesirree Bob, and you can dot the i on that one.
We drove out the phony AMP provider reviews--and that's what it took. As Edmund Burke said--"All it takes for evil to succeed is for good men to do nothing." Well, Frankie may have bit the dust, but those who remember him in Cyberspace will pick up his cudgels and continue the march to truth, justice and the American Way!
He seemed like a good guy... and may he RIP.
It just seemed like yesterday I was kidding him on the board about something.I've been away for a few days and haven't caught up on all the posts...
I appreciated his knowledge of the TER database. I didn't trust him at first because iof his lack of reviews but many of his posts have been benneficial to the NY TER community.
He will be missed.

I still remember his classic battles with Scriptfixer over NY Confidential. That was good stuff.
He also was great with helping anyone out that had questions about the operation of TER. He will be missed around here.
Frankie is a good guy. I am sure he will be back.

and although he will not be posting on a regular basis he still be be posting on other TER boards. His feeling about the New York board being biased may or my not be true. Time will tell.
Those of us that remain will do our best to keep the New York board and interesting place to share and exchange views. Yes we will have diagreements from time to time but that is not to be unexpected. Those that shill for personal gain will be shunned
by this community. Everbody has their personal favorite and there is no crime in acknowledging that. We need more people like Frankie to post there opinions(and believe me I did not always agree with him) to keep the board balanced. So for now our merry band of funlovers shall go on to bigger and better things.
