There is a service in the midwest (I think Chicago based) that verifies hobbyists for providers. For $50 one time lifetime membership, they will verify you for any provider that has questions about your legitimacy. Hobbyists provide the required info to RS2K, and RS2K checks out references discreetly. Room Service 2000 is a great service because all you have to tell Chicago providers is that you're a RS2K verified member. It makes things easy for hobbyists AND providers. For whatever reason, NY/NJ agencies and indies are ignorant of this great service. I've had occasions where agencies and providers had No Clue what I was talking about when I told them I was RS2K verified member. In the midwest, a membership in RS2K is a Carte Blanche to providers. RS2K also has a website for provider ads.
I agree with ya. It is a great service. It allows us providers to verify without intruding too much on a gents privacy. I love it when a gent says that they are a rs2k member. I know that most providers use it when traveling to Chicago.

How does one go about becoming a PROVIDER on RS2000?
Only providers who join can assess verification. And verification is simply whether or not a client is who he says he is and if any negative reports have been filed against him. LE would have to come up with a totally fake identity...fake job and phone number for employment verification, fake address, and fake cell phone plus fake credit card to pay fee. Guess it's possible. To date, this service has never had a problem and the women feel comfortable with it, though some gentleman have posted concerns over privacy of personal information. Nothing is perfect but this service has work well for me and many others in Chicago.
know they're NOT dealing with LE. Equally great for hobbyists because they don't have to give half a dozen references and work numbers every time they hobby. I'm dumbfounded as to why NY/NJ agencies and indies don't use the service. Also surprised that no entrepreneur has "cloned" this service in the norheast and South. I dealt with an agency in NJ last week that was familiar with the service and they verified me in less than 3 minutes.
