from South Florida!  If you're going a week or more, I might say yes. For 3 days, you'll spend 2 full days en route from South Florida.

Has anyone here been to Cabo San Lucas for a vacation.my girlfriends from LA want me to go there the week of June 1'st and I am from the east coast so I am assuming that Mexico is dead in the summer but they are telling me.. no it's busy, the people are hot.. eveyone comes from all over the US to go to Cabo and they r begging me to go for three days on a weekend.My ? is.. is it good, are there families or is it a single scene?
is the age group 25 to 45 or is it a bunch a college students.. which I don't want.
its a short trip for them but for me it's 6 hours on a plane. I want it to be worth it.

Any feedback on Cabo???

I fondly recall last month being on one of those lounge chairs drinking a six pack of Corona nips...dreaming about the elusive big Pink Marlin I was gonna catch the next day when low and behold....

I know but my best friend is going through a hard time and she is really into this Cabo place. She has been there 2 times in a month, mind you... this girl never leaves LA.She is onto something good or she just needs her friends.. can't figure it out but I love really cool places 2 visit and I need to be there for her right now.

Is it like Cancun or is it different?

DON'T NEED THE TEEN COLLEGE SCENE!!!

That's what my friend just informed me with.I am going to go with my gut instinct, something is drawing me there..I am reluctant but you know.. I was really concerned with 3 days of tourists, I always have had an issue with that. This time I will be concerned about my best friend who lives geographically undesirable but to me,actually I love LA & I have to work a lot @ what means most 2 me.. that means going out of my way for my friends.. shit... I still can't keep thinking of that damm 6 hour plane ride to a place that looks like my backyard.

Well.. anyone with good food recs or clubs.. let me know.. I really appreciate it.
