In light of the discussion yesterday re Maximus and then todays news re M. Vick....just kudos to KT for stepping up to the plate yesterday re Maximus ....too many sick individuals. Here is hoping the Michael vick gets banned by the NFL, gets a cellmate that treats him like he treated his dogs, and ends up dying broke, drunk, and living with a fat woman who calls him, Mikey, my little dog.
If enough revenue dollars are lost, they might can him.

They can't can him since he hasn't been found guilty of anything and he has a contract. The only thing the falcons can do is wait which is what they said in their statment that's on their website.
I can forsee many activists, outside their stadium making noise until the falcons find a way to get rid of him.

I'm not excusing what he did, but he was merely feeding an existing demand. I'm sure there were no shortage of spectators in those dog fights who get off on watching that kind of stuff.

That story yesterday made my usual happy go lucky self, just hunch over, tear up and clench my fists. Tears are not something that I have felt for a few months now, and that was the last time I heard a story like this in Los Angeles.
Some think animals have no soul and no spirit.
I look into both my dog's eyes and I know that there is unconditional love, warmth and compassion found in the deep of those little brown bright eyes.
How could anyone hurt and torture such a wonderful, loving creature?
It's beyond me.
Every day I can start with myself to make a difference in this world. All I can do is change myself and try to spread the happiness. It's a tough job to change peoples minds in anything. I find myself walking away from those who do not even have the heart or compassion to listen. I used to try to change their minds. You can not change anyone. It has to come from within them. Whoever did this to Maximus, in my opinion, deserves the worst. I don't care if it was a bunch of 17 year old children, or some granda bored with his ESPN. Somewhere, their upbringing went haywire, their compassion went out the window and their sense of all reason and love went to the sewer pipes.
