I will be coming up to NYC for a business trip in early Feb, and am looking at the different reviews, as I am a relative newbie at this, and will be staying near the Empire State Building. What area codes are applicable to that area so when I look at different ads/reviews, I can get an idea as to where they are located?
350 Fifth Ave New York, NY 10118
646 and 917.
Ciara, you've got to come downstate more often - our area codes have gone forth and multiplied

Damn that internet. It always lies to me !!!
Perhaps you should let the New York City folks answer questions like that. They would know best, don't you think?
no need to be short w/ her.
I forgot..as stated, things changed.. I used to live there...
Kinda figured since the Empire State Building was 212, so was it surroundings. So much for Rocket science..
As for New York City. This is the NY board.. Not the NYC board.. Have a great evening Mr Happy

that's a major plus!!!
the internet to find out that 212 was the area code for the Empire State building? Did you live here so long ago that you forgot? 646 and 917 have been around for years, so in your rush to post on this board, and in your subsequent excuses, you wound up looking foolish. Like I said before, you should have let those in New York City answer this. They don't need to go on the internet to find out! I tried to say it very mildly in my first post, but since you persisted in continuing this, I guess I have to be a bit more blunt about it. BTW, no-one said this is solely the NYC board. On the other hand, I wouldn't dream of answering questions that are particular to Buffalo here. After all, I don't live there, and it would be rather presumptuous.
Are you the head DICK or are you the DICK head?
Thank You
dickheads, which is obviously why you asked that question! I guess rational thought and logic are beyond you as well. )
BTW, as long as TER allows aliases, I'll continue to use them. If you don't like it, take it up with STAFF. Until then.....

not MAN enough to FOLLOWME.
Thank You
A trip to the sewer would Be a HUGE step up for you.
get back to me when you have the courage, pride and dignity to talk to me and throw flames withOUT an alias
Yes TER allows the use of an alias , however if you want to flame grow up be a man and get some balls
Thank You
"braindead" would suit you much better. My "handle" is as much an alias as my "alias," peabrain, so what's the difference? But I do so enjoy getting you mad, as your bravado and lack of intelligence stand out so clearly. The stupidity of trying to act tough on an anonymous board always brings a smile to my face.
I have seen the 917 area code for that area, but some of those people also have a 516 area code as well for a second number. What area is that
Nassau and Suffolk counties. If you were dying to meet a provider that's only available out there, you can hop on the Wrong Island Rail Road. It's Penn Station hub is located right in Midtown Manhattan.
however, nowadays you can get any area code in the country
212 = Manhattan
718 = Queens and Brooklyn
347 & 646 & 917 = anywhere in NYC
516 = Nassau
631 = Suffolk
914 = Westchester

So if I am a block from the Empire State Building, then the best area codes, for either Incall or outcall, to look at are:
212 = Manhattan
347 & 646 & 917 = anywhere in NYC
right? Is 347 a new one, since I never saw that on the list Bell posts online
Actually, 646 is an overlay of 212 (Manhattan) and 347 is an overlay of 718 (Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx AND Staten Island).
917 is a cellular/pager only area code, which is citywide in terms of the billing address. It is the only cellular-only area code which exists and which will ever exist.
(Which is not to say that all NYC-registered cellphones are 917. 646, 718 and 347 numbers could be either landline or cellular. But a 212 number is almost certainly a landline - while it could in theory be a cell, there are probably no more than a small handful that are - has to do with the cachet of 212.)

as land line numbers too.
You are correct in stating that 347 is an overlay of the outer boroughs. But for the purpose of educating an "out of towner" it is unnecessary information. Many providers who use 347 are located in Manhattan because their 347 is a cell phone, hence 347 = anywhere in NYC and sometimes L.I.
BTW, I love your reviews, keep them cumming.
Ciara, put the mouse and keyboard away and go to sleep.
De english is not so good enymor. Go too bed & relack.
(Followme wood be praud! Thank you.)
It's my buffalo lingo that getz in da way
BUt.. It Probably would've been more suffice eh ?
i have a 917 area code
My hotel is right across from mikis place.. its phone number is 212.. near the empire state building... miki is 917 near the empire state building. My aunts landline is 917 and her fax as well..It really doesnt fucking matter does it ?
Fuck off and have a great day.
Again.. Any ladies in the Empire state building area would've been more appropriate

you could start a rock collection!
I simply questioned why you would bother going on the internet to obtain the area code for NYC to answer that question when there are any number of people from NYC that could, and in fact did, provide the info. I refrained from cursing you out or calling you names, but since you decided to tell me to go fuck off, all I can say is that you can do the same. I certainly wouldn't fuck you, that's for sure, even if YOU PAID ME! But you're right about one thing - none of this matters. But since you persisted, you should know that I really don't give a shit, so sit on your finger and rotate! )

No one ever asked about providers cell phones
f/o and have a great day
it would be lonesome! No-one ever questioned the fact that 212 was an area code around the Empire State building. But the original post asked about area codes (PLURAL) around the Empire State building, and when another poster provided a more thorough answer, you responded by saying you had to go to the internet to find out that 212 was one of the area codes in question. I merely pointed out the dubious nature of going to the internet to try to answer this when there are so many other people on this board that could (and did) answer it OFF THE TOP OF THEIR HEADS! I can't help it that you got bent out of shape simply because I pointed out the obvious.
In a later post, you started by saying that "all I'm good for is fucking." Well, you're wrong there too. You're not good enough for fucking. All you're good for is NOTHING!
