It is hard to miss the coverage of the large, long standing sex trafficking ring involving Thais and US. The paper today said that seven locations (apartments, spas, hotels) have been identified in Minneapolis alone. Presumably those seven locations have been workplaces for a very large number of women and a many fold larger number of men. I get the creeps when AK-47 is mentioned in association with this activity.
There have been waves of arrests. Presumably more arrests are coming judging from the intent to eradicate the cartel.
For that is what they are and life sentences with no parole is what they deserve.
The only thing about "trafficking" is who to believe. It's obvious that many ladies join the profession voluntarily -- our local providers prove this. But there is a huge incentives for busted foreign providers to claim they were forced into it. They are treated as victims instead of criminals. They can get T or U visas to remain in the US.
It would seem that any foreign provider with an IQ above room temperature would claim "trafficked" status if busted.
Very interesting docu regarding this matter & the downfall of BP... Sadly our world is very imperfected by greedy people who care nothing for lives of girls/women/females...
I've said it before and I make no apology for saying it again; if anyone tries to tell me that they don't even slightly suspect that these ads are a front for trafficking, then I refuse to believe you. If you have frequented these places and you get an unwelcome knock on your door, it's no more than you deserve.
That is all.
