Yes, that Tyler. Sorry I should have posted a link. Can’t praise her enough, best massage by far, better than almost all therapeutic massage therapists that I’ve seen.
I had shoulder surgery earlier in January and I have got some serious tension and knots in the back and shoulder on that side. I was just cleared for activity a few days ago and starting PT, but the nurse recommended I look into a deep tissue massage to work those knots out. And I mean… Who am I to argue some pampering?
In my experience, and be mindful that yours may be different, you can get a quality massage, or an erotic massage, but not both. I’m curious if anyone here is or can recommend a good deep tissue massage artist that might come with some added benefits during or after.

Since you didn't say what kind of shoulder surgery I guess we need to get our mind reading vision ball out. Whoever told you to get a deep tissue massage is a friggin idiot. Rotator Cuff Surgery is 6-8 weeks in a sling, THEN Physical Therapy. Expect about 65% partial recovery in a year, maybe 85% in 2 years. Save your money and don't rush it.
I had a labral repair in early January. I’m already out of the sling and back to work, and doing physical therapy, but a lot of the muscles are tight and tense. There’s no pain IN the shoulder anymore. There’s pain in the muscles around it that are all knotted up. Most of my physical therapy has been stretching and massages already….
