I don’t think Minnesota is any worse than other areas for cancellations. Can you share why they cancelled, if they told you?  For example, was it due to illness, or a business conflict, or some other reasonable excuse?

Tis the season for colds, flu...we've had massive amount of sick outs at work in the last month, seems everyone has something.  Could be bad timing.

Too bad.  Sorry that had to happen.  I'm glad you got cancellations ahead of time instead of last-minute, though.  

It seems to be cold and flu season here. My entire household has gotten colds. I suspect all the kids with runny noses and with immune systems that aren't used to being around so many people are bringing it home to their families. Hope you have better luck next time you try to travel here.

That would be my guess as well.  It's been in the news about how the season is off to an early and worse than usual start.
