Getting it on your skin I believe isn't anymore risky than other body fluids.
The enzymes and acids in your saliva, esophagus and stomach will effectively kill the virus. The risk is not nearly as high as say, unprotected anal sex. It becomes a risk when there is broken skin in the mouth. A good harm-reduction strategy here would be to refrain from brushing your teeth for a few hours beforehand, and to make sure you don't have any cold/canker sores on your lips/gums.
