"... a source that I have never heard of before."  ???

These links are to:

The Centers for Disease Control,

The World Health Organization,

Planned Parenthood,

The Mayo Clinic

It is hard to imagine a better known or more authoritative list of organizations relevant to the topic under discussion. Which one had you never heard of before?

There has, from time to time, been some things said about STI transmission on this site which has been, in varying degrees, anything from incomplete to absolutely wrong.  I just thought it would be good for someone to put up the cold hard facts.  If you want to know the truth, check out these links, all of them have solid information from some of the most respected organizations in the medical health field.

Any of us who chose to partake of this hobby need to be aware of this information.  I have been with a few providers who did not know the right way to put on a condom, and it was a little disturbing.  Support sex ed in schools, then everyone will learn this stuff.

Just an observation, not that it means anything. but basically the post on ly has one good link to a source that I have never heard of before, the post then sort of undermines it's own credibility.

Light; just a suggestion on my part, but I woudl recommend you double check the links you have posted this message and if you can provide the correct links.

The final bracket "]" in each link is getting parsed as part of the URL, so of course the links don't work. Remove that bracket from the URL in your browser's link field, hit "Enter," and they all work fine.

If posted links have some subtle inaccuracy hat causes them to be invalid, that is careless, and annoying as well. But in this case, the problem is pretty obvious to anyone who's familiar with what a properly-formed URL should look like. What's more, that problem may have as much to do with how this particular site interprets URL's as with any fault on the poster's part.

And a fine group of links, BTW - lots of good info. there for all of us Ladies and Gents to peruse.

I was referring to the one link that did work. which I personally have never heard of before. I am aware of the other links and their validity. I just find it frustrating when posts have inaccurate(sp) links, I know that it was a poorly formed url however I don't have time to go around fixing others posts and when I post a link I make certain it is useable. As I said initially it really doesn't mean anything I was just offering my observation. Didn't mean to ruffle anybodies feathers.

Have a terrific all!
