First we found a perfect house for an affordable fee. Then I got an offer to use someone else's house for nothing. Despite a few logistical problems like parking it was doable and the price was right. Then I got a call from him on Monday reporting a personal situation that made it highly likely that we'd have to cancel.Nobody's fault. Things happen.
On Wednesday, I went back to Plan "A" and spoke to the owner and THOUGHT I'd revived the original deal. Today I got an e-mail from him informing me that he has a tentative deal to rent the place out for two weeks including OUR party weekend and that he's waiting for a check.It would have been nice if he told me that Wednesday or even yesterday.He offered me the first weekend in June which I do NOT want. The weather is too iffy and too many people have too many other things going on. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he's a businessman and he's going with the best deal for him.
So unless somebody has a brilliant idea or can otherwise pull a rabbit out of their hat, we will have to CANCEL the party. Frankly, I am out of ideas and I'm tired from the emotional roller coaster.
The bottom line is we don;t have a place to party and unless we get one soon, we are out of luck.I am very sorry. I did my best and put a lot of time and effort into this already. If somebody does have a SERIOUS suggestion, please PM me.

So touring girls who don't even provide in NJ are going to make a special trip to the Jersey shore? That strains credulity. Did they contact you and request to be there, or did you contact them and request that they attend. The later is way less reliable, even more so if you approached them in person.

Do I honestly expect anyone to make a special trip to attend a party ? Of course not. That's not how it works. BUT a LOT of ladies will schedule trips to NYC and NJ around the party and DO plan on attending.How do YOU explain all the out of town ladies who have graced past M & G's and PP's ?
So far, only two have dropped out and DESPITE the current difficulties and uncertainties, I have gotten a LOT of requests from other ladies to attend.
If we can pull this off, I hope you can make it. I'm going to personally barbecue a nice , big fat crow and watch you eat it.
