As a matter of fact, Hefner's TV program "Playbody After Dark" was one of the few stations to feature black artists and entertainment at that time. Nonetheless, I've always had an affinity for the Playboy brand, as it truly was the gentleman's entertainment of the time.

To say he lead a full life is an understatement! He died peacefully in the mansion "surrounded by love ones". That is open to interpretation of course!

To BigPapasan, a frequent visitor to the Playboy Mansion. Nobody could clear a stopped up toilet better than BigP, and Hef loved him for it. We share BigP's sadness at the loss of a good friend and customer.

Like all visionaries, he was reviled, and those who did so had a good point, but the larger point is perhaps that he did more for sex education than any mountain of textbooks, parents, clergymen, or philosophers.
