If you read the press releases from the October bust(s) they did the same thing. They post the people's name in facebook so they will be shamed.
Bottom line stay away from Anne Arundel county for hobby activities in terms of seeing unknown/unreviewed providers. Better to get blue balls than get busted.

AA Co is no different than any other jurisdiction. If you think that you're safer TOFTT in Towson, Cockeysville, Pikesville, Catonsville, Columbia, Elkridge, or Downtown Baltimore, you're kidding yourself. You seem to imply that AA Co has the only active vice unit working in the state.

Next to it I saw this article about a bunch of girls and a hostess at a strip club in PA pleading out to get probation that will allow the charges to be expunged upon completion. It came with photos of the contrite girls who are well on their way to rehabilitation.

There is another detail you forgot to post is that they are not smart. Years ago before I start hobbying I did research to find out which areas were hot. Anne Arundel county allows you to use their libraries to search news papers for free to get intel. It was obvious back in the 1990's it was not a place to hobby.
Plus MD doesn't have a limitation for related charges. From a legal standpoint DC and NOVA are the best places to hobby in the area from a legal perspective as it relates to your past getting you into a situation.
That could bring additional charges, after the fact.
I was focusing on what has already happened with these nine individuals.

I don't honestly know, but I would assume if your info is not attached to your TRAC phone you might be OK. I would think a standard phone vs a smart phone would be better too.
And don't log into personal accounts on the hobby phone cause then ya compromised. But knowing local law is always key before you engage.
If you:
Buy your phone and refill cards with cash.
Activate it from a pay phone. (Malls are a good place to still find pay phones)
Never call your own number, or log into any personal account with it.
Some might suggest you take the battery out when you aren't using it.
If you've called a girl or agency who has been busted, throw the phone away and get a new one. In this case, hopefully you are a kind and considerate enough of a client to have a couple of providers who like you and you trust. When you need a reference, give the new girl the new number. Tell your reference to expect a call, and that they'll be giving them your new number. This is also a great time to see that previous provider to renew your acquaintance and confirm your new number with her
