So, do me a favor. I'm on a contract gig that ends in February. I've already bought 3 plane tickets.   RAK CDG and RGN.  In that order.  

Never been to Bangkok, always wanted to visit Vietnam/Laos.  
Looking somewhere mellow, inexpensive (minus the whores)
and where I could get lost for a while.
