Yes, if you honestly reviewed multiple girls and contributed here for a long time, then a screw up or two [or three] to get some VIP days is not the the most horrid thing that goes one here - so long as the fake reviews were not dramatically different than those that arent fake. I notice what are clearly BS reviews posted to get some VIP time happening pretty often. So long as a provider's reputation isnt tarnished in any way, or members are not seriously misled, it's not all that big a deal. TER can handle it; the fake review can be taken down; and that can be the end of it.
People around here do dumber things than posting a fake review when they are horny.

As far as I am concerned, this is way more amusing than reading the kgirl supporters v. the indy provider supporter fights. Plus, it shows that there a lot of people who actually care about the integrity of the place, even people who take opposite sides on other issues, are agreeing in this thread.

Either there are a lot of shills, or there are a lot of made up reviews. So many posters/reviewers, including some posting in this thread, have an endless string of 9/8 or 9/9 or some variation. If a reviewer doesn't have some 7s and below, he's a shill, he's making up reviews to get VIP, or he's been the luckiest hobbiest in the world. With a little research you know which reviewers are legit and which are not. And it seems like the loudest complainers, all whom I see in this thread, are the biggest shills. It's pretty pathetic.

Second, now that I examine his review history, the consistency of the frequency is indeed rather odd. Seems to be just about the 2 per month needed to keep VIP status. Will file that "clue" away as something to watch for when examining other reviewers.
Third, must reply to bump that. The lack of 7's (or lower) does not, in my opinion, necessarily mean the hobbyist is lucky or a shill or a fake. It may simply be due to a reviewer being afraid to post a less than stellar review, when one is absolutely warranted. It can create all kinds of drama, it can lead to extortion from the provider, TER may ultimately pull the review anyway, etc.

Another thing for everyone else. What he did was against the rules, and he got off easy. He could have been banned for 30 days along with the flipping.
During my tenure as co moderator of this board I had caught at least 6 other members doing the same thing. One provider even recommended herself using an alias in the same thread.
I also do not think that this transgression of a TER rule warrants impeachment of FIDCUOF's reviews, but I see that not everyone agrees with that.

He definitley should get AT LEAST the 30 day suspension for the alias thing. Especially since it was obviously an ongoing thing, not a one time thing, as evidenced by the searches pulling up all those previous threads.
But the review thing is another issue. Since he wrote fake reviews, then all his reviews should be suspect. We don't have concrete proof that he wrote fake reviews, but if several ladies (not just one) are saying it, I would take their word over his. Also he pretty much admitted it himself by asking all those questions to veejules, like he had no clue who she was, after he reviewed her last year.
Iimpeachment of the reviews should be due to review fraud, not due to posting in the same thread with his alias and his handle. That also may warrant a lifetime ban, not just 30 days. I know people have been banned for less than that.

I'm not defending FIDCUOF, but your logic around the number of reviews and that having money invested in membership signifies real reviews is only partly valid. I don't pay for membership and I review as and when necessary. What I do find way more dangerous is handing over my credit card and details to an organisation that could well be targetted by LE and then it's game over.
