My Lists;
Michael J Fox
Scarlett's Johansson
Heidi Fleiss

Lick Lick,

Ashley

Alice Cooper or Stevie Ray Vaughn.
Lots of musicians from working radio in TX back in the 80's.

Hollywood types are "meh" for me.

apart from the adorable Ashley Shye, I guess it would be former presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson.  When he was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, he operated on my son's brain tumor when my son was about 13 or 14.  I met him years later when he came to Tampa to speak at the opening county-wide faculty meeting in Tampa as the keynote speaker.  I was not in Baltimore when he operated on my son.  My son is now almost 37 years and has lived a normal healthy life thanks to Dr. Carson.

LLAP,

infamous along with famous, then I have met Heidi Fleiss also.

The MOST famous would be Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, both while in office, and Jimmy Carter, after office, during habitat for humanity days.

Robert Plant for me.  Met him at T-Bone Burnett's home.  I'm still blown away by that brief meet.

I don't know if it counts as meeting someone if I had a book or CD signed at an in-store appearance.  I have had a bunch of those interactions.  If it counts, then I'll add in David Hockney.

A close friend introduced me to Paulo's books a few years ago my favorite was 11 minutes. I still have a book of selected quotations from Paulo in my desk drawer I read it often. He was an amazing writer and
Visionary person.

I knew his name, but didn't recall any of his titles.  I did read The Alchemist once a long time ago.

...to show them off.  One was gold-plated and the other silver-plated.  I made a comment about the Lone Ranger using silver bullets and Elvis said:  "Silver bullets, hell!"  He pulled the clip out of the gold-plated gun and the bullets appeared to be gold-plated.

Also, Muhammad Ali, no doubt the most famous person in the world, but he was already in the throes of Parkinson's so he was just a shadow of his former self and nowhere near as impressive as meeting Elvis when I was a lot younger.

Living in L.A. since the late '60's, I couldn't help but trip over celebrities.  They were more centrally located, rather than spread out in the TMZ - the Thirty Mile Zone.  No walled and gated houses; far fewer security concerns.  You could see the most famous celebrities at Jurgensen's Market in Beverly Hills and a few years later at Gelson's.

As a young kid, I saw Elizabeth Taylor.  No ifs, ands, or butts - hands down the prettiest woman in the world with the most gorgeous eyes.  Never since have I seen anyone who can hold a candle to her.

Mike Schmidt - Philadelphia Phillies.  When I was in little league, he taught me how to swing a bat properly.  He was nice to me a the time but I still think that he is a ahole.
Judy O'dea - Barbara from Night of the Living Dead - we were best friends while she was still in LA.
Harold Ramis -Egon! I had a good conversation with him while waiting for a plane.
Dennis Miller - had drinks with him after a standup act.
Imogene Coca - very old comedian.  I met her in line at the post office.  Spent the time making fun of the other people in line.
Jim Carey - he did standup at my college before he was really famous.  He just did In Living Colour at the time.  Eat frozen yogurt with him.

Once played Craps with McCain and this past year got to hang with Dr J at the Wooden Awards after party.

They were playing a little half court one on one.  McCain lost.

Senator John F. Kennedy, Garth Brooks, David lee Roth,

Where I work, we deal with A-list celebs only, so they're in the office all the time. The best was listening to one client on Fresh Air on the way home one day. The next day he was in the office. If I could name them, you'd be impressed.

Outside of work, back in 2004 I met a U of Chicago con law professor who seemed nice. We had a nice chat. Fella went by the name of Barack....I hear he went on to big things...

I saw Danny DeVito outside LACMA a few years back...met Arnold at church....and Mayor Villarogosa (he was still mayor).

Do sports figures count?
Sandy Koufax
Jerry West
Arnold Palmer
Tiger Woods

Yes, I guess I am.  I did see Dean at a party/banquet many years ago, but never met him.  I heard he was a terrific guy.  I did briefly know his son that was killed in the Air Force jet crash when I was in college.  I heard Dean never got over that.  I guess it would be so hard to.  How sad.

had some good ones ... rather no reveal names !!

cheers
