9th Circuit challenge to the California prostitution law
Is scheduled for an oral hearing sometime in October.  Since Arizona and most states laws are like California this could result in decriminalization for consenting adults but it is a huge fight.  Many AMICI CURIAE briefs have been filed by various "friends of the court" for and against the declaratory action.

A very key issue is if there is a compelling government interest to reduce harm.   Calf has argued a long list of harms from STD’s to drugs, sex trafficking, other crimes and on and on.  Our side the argument is the law itself causes harm. Lambda in their 66 page Amici brief does a great job of arguing that when illegal it greatly increases the risk of HIV, STD’s and other harms.

In Canada, the Supreme Court made it clear criminalization increases harm when it reversed the law against incalls, etc.  C36 is basically a non-issue in most cities for private consenting adults- again following the harm reduction model.  This frees up police to go after underage, forced prostitution, and enforce the law against "Johns" in street work.

I again enjoyed Toronto June 1-10 for my intimacy interests, as I have for almost 20 years.  Canada follows a harm reduction model and the prior prostitution law that outlawed incalls (outcall always was legal) was declared in violation of their Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Most of the many large agencies have opened incalls.  The most I paid for an hout of outcall was $CDN260 = $US192.  Incalls at very nice hotels or condos about $CDN160 = $US118.

I posted my various reports you know where and other places.  Not juicy enough to be accepted by TER.
