Hello,

Has anyone ever had a problem with a lady getting past security going up to your room? How does secuirty handle that?

Yea... what smarty said.

Heres the short version. They either need a key card to get through themselves or you need to escort them just as you would anyone else. Not a big deal.

unless you are doing something obviously illegal (do you or your companion look like a terrorist?) or either of you have been banned from the property, security really doesn't care.  They want to make sure that one of you is staying there and belongs on the guest floors.  Just don't sing in front of them something to the effect of "I'm gonna screw this whore six ways to sunday...".  I don't think your companion or the guards will think very highly of you (and they still might let you go if you flash your room key).

Without the room key, the guard will call your room and ask if the person is allowed to come up.   Losing the key means you go back to the front desk and try and get a new one (if you still have photo ID, not a good way of starting off some private time).

Yawn,
 Bob

LOL,,,you just reminded me of a something that happened to me.  No I didn't sing,,lol. I was staying at a local hotel for New Years.  Went to get some ice and grabbed a card off the table as I went out the door. Came back and went to swipe the card,,,only to find out I had grabbed my Visa card which of course wouldn't work the lock. :(  Thankfully, "Housekeeping" was just outside my door and she called security up who let me in and then checked my ID which of course was in the room.
