Was the girl with you? Was it obvious you were together? If so, and you had your room key, they should have NEVER asked her for her ID. I have been with providers as young as 19, and when we went up to the room, they never asked. Also, if they ask for room keys, get two, give the provider one, and have her give it to you when you get to the room.

Odds are she was known to security and possibly she has been formally trespassed off the property. Had she shown her ID and been pinned as a trespasser, they COULD have arrested her and detained her till Metro came and cited her for Trespassing. A Trespass Cite is not a big deal but her having contact with LE and having her name etc run through the system might have discovered other things that would have been a big deal for her. Otherwise, why wouldn't she have an ID with her? They may simply have wanted to ensure she was 21 if you were in the casino area but not having an ID raises a bunch of red flags for those guys so they threw her off property. Did you protest at all? 'I'm staying in Room XXXX and she is MY GUEST'
You are correct. They did know her. And she must have walked around in the casino prior to meeting me closer to my elevators. She does look young and I imagine she would get carded everywhere.
Here's what happened:
I had a date set up with my ATF "B1" and her friend "B2" for 11 or 12 for my last night of this trip.
After getting some txt messages saying they were running late, (which B1 always is late) I asked her to just come in the morn. around 5 so I could get some sleep so I can safely make the 5 hour drive home.
This has happened before and worked out fine.
B1 always goes the extra mile to make me happy and will bring a "new friend" every date if I want, and it always exceeds my expectations. (Hence ATF)
I crash out and wake up to a txt at 5 am from B1 saying she was sending B2 in and she would be there in 15 mins and asked where to meet.
I tell her my tower name and to meet in the small lobby in that area. (We met the night before for a phenomenal date at the NY NY)
She txt back 10 mins later and says she told her to meet me at dunkin donuts.. (Which is more than half way from the parking garage to the casino) she must have walked into the casino area and then to dunkin donuts (she had a cofee)
This is my first time at the hard rock and I don't care for all the rules.. And you need a room key for the elevator.
So I see her in the hall and give her a hug and we start heading for the hallway to the elevator.
We didn't even get 20 feet and I hear "miss, i need to see your ID"
It totally caught me off guard and I didn't know what to say or do. I'm almost 50 and it must look pretty obvious me being with a lil young hottie. So I'm pretty nervous. I know we hadn't done anything wrong but I'm still scared.
I know B1's real name, and she is far more experienced than B2 and she would not have put up with much BS. I just met B2 the night before.
So, B2 has a paper ID and says she's 30 and she is my guest. I agree and tell them I'm staying there.
They ask for a photo ID and when she dosent have one, they ask her to leave the property. They say it is a gaming resort and you must be 21.
B2 mentions to the lady security guard that she checked her a couple weeks ago and commented on her tattoo on her hip. (She remembers as well)
We walk to my car so we could call B1 and they get irritated and say if she dosent leave, they will get the police involved.
They walked her to her car and I head back to my room.
I call B1 and of course she's pissed.... She has dealt with this stuff many times and tells me a couple ideas and plans to sneak B2 and herself back in.
By now, I have lost the mood and just need some time to calm down. I know I had not done anything wrong, but it still rattled me.
I usually stay at the NY NY and have never had any problems like this.
I talked to B1 later and she told me that B2 has been 86'd from other casinos.
I loved the room and the casino was great too.
I had 2 other dates at the hard rock and had no issues. (Both were older and classier dressed women) and we met near my elevator.

Think about it,It's 5am and a older 50 year old looking guy, probably dressed very conservatively meets a girl more then half your age, not sure how she's dressed but my guess is that it's 5am and maybe she's looking alittle "tired". Plus like someone mentioned, she may have been "cursing" the casino and at some point, security had her pegged. Security has seen this play out all so often that they have a feeling that this might not end well, for you. And even if you knew her friend, security doesn't know that.

Even though a buddy of mine was staying there once and a woman who'd normally be way out of his league knocked on his door and said hi I'm having a fight with my BF, wanna fuck?

Prob won't stay at the hard rock again even though I loved the casino and actually won $ on single deck blackjack, and the room was great.
Sorry, but I don't understand why in THIS instance there is any more reason to suspect that "this might not end well for him" than in any other hooker/John transaction. I'm really not sure what I'm failing to understand here. 5am means nothing in Vegas.

As long as you don't try to gamble, it's never been a problem. I'm guessing they're familiar with her and know exactly who she is and what she does. Especially considering her friend told the OP she's been kicked out several times before. Perhaps she was involved in some public drama in one of the casinos at some point. Just a guess.
Yes, they knew her... But I obviously was not aware of this....
But, I specifically told B1 exactly where B2 should come in and turn down the hallway to my tower elevator, and meet there... And its nowhere close to the casino.
I'll know better next time if I stay anywhere where room keys are required for elevators.

When I travel to Las Vegas, I stay at the Embassy Suites near the Convention Center. There is no security and have never had any problems meeting a lady. Although there is no casino at the Embassy Suites, they have a free shuttle which runs to the strip at the bottom of each hour.
Excerpt from Nevada gaming regulations, which govern gaming establishments:
"The board and the commission deem any activity on the part of any licensee, his agents or employees, that is inimical to the public health, safety, morals, good order and general welfare of the people of the State of Nevada, or that would reflect or tend to reflect discredit upon the State of Nevada or the gaming industry, to be an unsuitable method of operation and shall be grounds for disciplinary action by the board and the commission in accordance with the Nevada
Gaming Control Act and the regulations of the board and the commission."
Notice the "morals" in there. There is room for any hotel to be disciplined simply for allowing prostitution to take place at all. But most hotels will draw the line at underage and coerced prostitution and allow discreet adult encounters to take place.
Think about the amount of money that would be lost if a hotel's gaming license was suspended, even for one day. Plus the damage to their reputation. Imagine if you as a guest arrived in Vegas to find that your hotel's gaming operations had been shut down.
The security guards at Hard Rock were just doing their job. And the hotel is not out of line in denying access to providers who cannot prove they are of age, or who may have a history of unsuitable behavior.
I get it.
I started this thread in hopes of finding a last minute appointment before I had to check out and head home.
(Which didn't work.....) No big deal.
I wasn't trying to bash the hard rock, but I was bummed out that my last date of this trip got screwed up and wasn't my fault.
And of course I woke up horny......lol
I had a great time there and this was the only negative little part of my 2 night stay at the hard rock.
